05-06-2025This is the second animal heating pad purchased. I like the fact that I do not have to adjust the temperatures. The pad has an upper and lower temp range, that it regulates by itself. The pad is plugged in from September thru April and seems to use little electricity. And best of all, the cats love this heating pad. Thats why I had to purchase another one. 2 paws up from the cats.

> 3 dayThese are my favorite pet warming pads. I house multiple neighborhood strays and these warmers are super convenient. I have 2 so far. But these are my favorite because of the timers. In the evenings, I come home from work and feed the cats and set the timers for the most heat, for 24 hours, then depending on the weather I can do it again the next night. Temps have 5 or 6 different options, and heat timers have settings from 2 to 24 hours. Love these!

Greater than one weekMy cat loooooves this heating pad. Its been her favorite nap spot since I got it. Its warm, but not hot so I feel comfortable leaving it plugged in. I put it on top of an ottoman so it cant get squished against a wall. She hasnt been interested in messing with the cord at all, which is a relief since shes pretty chewy on any string attached to a toy and cardboard. Very pleased with this purchase.

Place a blanket, pillow or other insulating objects over part of your heating pad. After operating 30-40 minutes, place your hands under the pad to experience the warmth your pet will enjoy.
2. What is the difference between a human heating pad and a heated pet mat?
The heated pet mat provides a subtle heat, which is the natural body temperature of dogs and cats. A regular human heating pad will be much too warm and could damage a pet"s skin and cause him/her to be afraid of the heat source.
3. Can I put this heating pad outside on a porch in my pet house?
No. This product is not intended for outdoor use. It is not designed to output enough heat for the cold outdoor temperatures of winter.
4. Is the pet warming pad water-resistant?
The pet warming pad inner is water-resistant. It can be wiped clean with a damp cloth. The removable fleece cover is not water-resistant.
5. Is there an off/on switch?
