Night Owl Security SPF-CAMP-2A Camera Adapter with 4-Way Power Splitter, Black

I ordered this plug and it only lasts me one month and it stop working dont know what went wrong

This worked perfectly as a replacement for my power cord that died. Model# DVR-AHD10B-81-RS-2 from Costco

The power cord was to short for the distance I needed it for. I believe that it was about 24 inches. I have to purchase an extension in order to use the power cord. I was pleased with the plug because it was off to the side and didn’t take up all of the outlets.

Expect it to go bad in couple years , I dont know why this is my 4th one , cameras still great but this power cable gives up every two years!

We purchased an Owl Security camera set a few years ago, and within a year, the cameras would no longer work. Calling the company is just an endless circle of frustration, which results in them telling you that you need to replace one component or another. They do not acknowledge the warranty, and you either purchase the missing component (for us, it’s this one), or you waste $200+ cameras. I would go with a more reputable company that values its customer base. Avoid this company (Owl Security) at all costs.

Product went out less than 6 months later. Wont provide enough power for all 4 cameras to run, if one or more are unplugged, then the remaining cameras work fine. Swapping power adapter fixes issue, this was the reason I bought this to begin with. Night Owl has poor power adapters to begin with, replacements seem to also be an issue.
