Nintendo Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Edition Pro Controller - Switch

Nice and sturdy, works great as a gift. Good battery life

The Nintendo Switch Pro Controller is an extremely solid and enjoyable game pad. It feels great to hold and play games with. While the price is $15 higher than the normal one, it’s probably got something to do with both the new design, and the improvements made on the D-pad. Overall, a great experience for playing games. The only thing that bothers me about this controller is the grips. This may not actually be an actual issue, but somehow it feels like the Smash Ultimate Pro Controller has less of a “grip” feel on it, compared to the original Pro Controller. I’m not sure why this is, or if this problem exists on other Pro Controllers with colored grips, however if I had to guess I would say it’s due to the paint on the controller just barely covering the grip material. Supposedly, the original Switch Pro Controller has had its D-pad issue fixed, so unless you want this special edition, I’d recommend the regular black Nintendo Switch Pro Controller. Other than the grip and D-pad, this controller is pretty much perfect.

I bought this as my replacement. This is a special edition, so I took my opportunity to get this one. No special experience, but I’m satisfied!

Super worth it especially if your a smash fan like me.

After buying this controller and some joystick attachments (to enlarge and improve the grips), I have permanently left the joycons attached to the system.

Makes games more fun to play.

The Dpad issue seems to be fixed on this one. Im happy to say I have no problems on my end with this release.
