> 3 dayThis attachable magnet does exactly what it is intended to do. I have a Steelie dash mount for mounting my phone to the dash in my truck. The magnet that came with the mount was incapable of holding my phone. While it stayed attached to the mount, my phone would slide down the ball and just hang there. This extra large magnet holds my phone in whatever orientation I place it in. Make sure that the magnet is attached directly to the back of your phone or the solid plastic part of your phones case. If you have an outer, flexible silicone that surrounds your case, you will need to trace out and remove a portion of the silicone so that the magnet can attach to the more solid plastic.

> 3 dayI had this system for my iPhone 6 and it worked great. I purchased the magnet for my 8. Actually, I purchased it two different times thinking I did something wrong the first time and it failed both times. Time to move on to another product. I just wasted $24.00.

> 3 daySo I got the original steelie ball and magnet, but was not strong enough for plus size phones. So I got this one, it is strong, really strong and it holds my phone up great. Problem is it is so strong i ripped the ball off the car first time i took it off. Scraped the adhesive off tried a stronger adhesive. Didnt work either. So I moved up to gorilla glue. Works good for awhile but the magnet is so strong you have to pull it off the ball so hard, eventually I RIP the whole thing off the dash. So I reglued it and lasted for a while again. And just ripped it off again. Which reminded me to put this review up.
