Nite Ize Original Steelie Magnetic Phone Socket - Additional Magnet for Steelie Phone Mounting Systems

I have been meaning to write a review on this item for years but kept forgetting. Best purchase ever. A few years ago I had bought one of these as a mount for my phone in the car. One time I had placed my phone on top of my car while I was putting other things in my car. I totally forgot to grab it. When I got home, 5 miles later, I realized I had left my phone on top of my car. It was still there!!!!!! Can’t thank steelie enough for saving my phones life when I left it in danger.

We needed more magnets for our Steelie mounts. We use multiple phone cases

I bought two, one for each of my phones. They don’t hold up like the original ones I had. After two months they can’t even hold the phone up in the car.

Stuck ball on the dash of my truck, and magnet on back of iphone 6s in Lifeproof case. It holds the phone perfectly and does not allow it to move around. However, if you use a heavier phone such as the Note 4, the phone will rotate around on the ball as the vehicle moves. Still, this is an inexpensive way to securely hold your phone while driving. The magnet that sticks to the back of the phone is not that large, so there is no issue when carrying it in your pocket.

I can tell you that this is the best Car Mount I have ever had. I bought his to ensure all my car mount devices are well equipped. Buy the ome with the steelie ball and buy this to ensure all your devices are equipped.

It worked real good but its a tad bit pricey

If you go by pictures without reading what it really contains, you will be disappointed like me. Kit, contains 1 magnetic case mount/3M tape pad and prep cloth. Thats one expensive magnet.
