Works great to clean thermal paste

Like you, I thought this was a gimmick. I received 10 of these free with my noctua NT-H2. I constantly upgrade, test, swap processors.

I know that this type of product is considered overkill, but they are very nice to have when working on anything computer-related.

They are okay. I feel like I had to polish pretty hard with the wipe to get the thermal compound off. Even then not all of it would come off. I feel the problem with these wipes is that they are not wet enough and I would have to scrape the thermal compound off with my nail. What I found to work best is the Arctic Silver Solution. One drop and the thermal paste starts breaking apart requiring only light polishing. Using these wipes after would then be a better experience. However you could just use a Q-tip/soft paper towel instead with the drops.

Can not say how much I like these it makes the clean up of thermal paste so easy I was using alcohol and cotton balls or qtips but these eliminate them and one cloth gets the job done

These work as promised, with just a little bit of effort you can clean off every bit of thermal paste from solid surfaces. They do leave some residue behind (not paste, but the wipes) so I recommend having a microfiber cloth handy to finish the job.

I was able to clean 1 CPU and 3 GPU(s) with a single wipe. These wipes are thick and soaked in solution. Easy to use and clean very well. Might not be the most economical choice, but definitely a no-hassle, pick-up and go tool.
