> 24 hourScenario i am a cool freak. I live where its 120f atleast 10 days out of the year. my liquid cooler was doing a good job but the fans included sound like a dying jet and thats not good since they are only 2 weeks old. i replaced every fan in the machine with Noctua fans and its so quiet now and to temp dropped about 4c keeping me in at 52c under 100% load across all 8 cores after running PRIME 95 for 48 hours

> 24 hourThis fan has a great build quality: from removable rubber corners to deaden vibrations, rubber screws, regular screws, three different cords from pwm to extensions. This fan has it all. On top of all that its so silent. I am working to replace the other ten fans in my case with only Noctua from now on.

> 24 hourI heard so many great things about Noctua fans and decided to give them a try. Everything that is said about them is 100% true, these are greats fans! In the box you get the fan (obviously!), extension cable, 2 low noise adapters, and rubber mounting screws. Moves plenty of air while staying whisper quiet. A tad on the expensive side but well worth the cash. After all, you get what you pay for!

> 24 hourMy case (NZXT Phantom 410) is loaded with 8 fans, all of which are 120mm Noctua fans with the exception being the single 140mm fan on the side of the case. The voltage at low speed is not enough to start the 140mm and I have to turn the fan speed up to medium for it to get going, then I can turn it back to low. Rigged with a Cooler Master Silent Pro PSU and a Corsair H100i, my computer runs almost completely silent with the case fans on on low. When cranked up to medium or high, all of the 120mm have a noticeably increased wind noise, but it is not a bother because it is expected noise when they are pushing more air. With this 140mm fan though, as soon as it hits medium speed it really begins chopping the air and you can hear the air buzzing because of it. The fan itself is dead quiet and does move air-a-plenty, but doesnt seem to move the air as smoothly or quietly as the 120mm.

> 24 hourVery quiet, no whining sound. Bigger size moves more air. Isolated mounts keep motor from vibrating the cabinet..Different power inserts run fan at three different speeds.I run it at 12 volts and it is quiet. Of course you have to enlarge the opening if youre replacing a 120mm fan.

> 24 hourI bought this for an NZXT Source 210 case. I am using it in one of the top fan mounts. I primarily bought this fan because the advanced bearing allows mounting in any orientation with no problems. I was also interested in quiet operation and longevity. You can buy quiet fans with fluid bearings for cheaper or about the same price but honestly, superior cooling with good engineering and reliability is worth the price to me. I keep my computers until they wear out (generally) so expensive fans are not a waste of money for me.
