> 3 dayIve had these fans for 2 months now and it is true that Noctua honestly has the highest quality fans on the market. I bought 2 of these and use them as front intake fans in my NZXT Source 530 and all my temps are soo good.

> 3 dayWhen I mounted the fan on the side panel of my case. Corsair 400R, either way, intake or exhaust, there was a mechanical hum. I put my coolermaster 140mm back on the side, and used these two as exhaust on the top of the case and there was no hum. I kind of salvaged the use, however I would rather use them as intake because of they blow more air in, but the him was super annoying, and defeated the purpose of buying this fan.I really wanted to like them, for the side panel. For some reason when the 140mm was mounted on the case, the hum disappeared. Also I had to plug the fan directly into the power supply and not use the motherboard because when plugged into the MB the fans would not start right away, and sometimes wouldnt start to spin until the OS was completely started. The 120mm are far superior.

> 3 dayWhat else can you expect from Noctua other than an excellent product. These are incredibly quiet but still do a great job moving air.

> 3 dayThey are Noctuas. If you are looking at these fans, then you already know that Noctuas are pretty much the best PC fans money can buy. They are well known for their build quality, quiet operation, and poor aesthetics. I personally like how they look. They are unique in their own way.

> 3 dayAs always, Noctua makes the very best fan out there. Top-notch build quality, the best airflow:noise ratio anywhere, and plenty of adapters to make the fan quieter if you wish.

> 3 dayI have a Fractal Design Define R4 Black Pearl case, and I tried upgrading the stock fans with the Fractal Design Dynamic GP-14 Black Case Fans, and still wasnt getting the airflow I wanted. I decided to give these Noctua fans a try, bought one new one from Amazon, and three used ones from a local computer repair shop. Awesome airflow through the case now, temps overall are down 5 degrees C, and Im not hearing any loud fan noise. My system is being used as an entertainment computer, connected to my home theater setup, and from my listening position Im hearing zero fan noise. Im running two of the fans at 7 volts, using the fan controller on the R4 case, and two running at 1150 RPMs using the Scythe SCKMPN-3100 Fan Controller, and I couldnt ask for a quieter machine for home entertainment.

> 3 dayThis is quiet, I do not take that away from it, but if you place this in any area you can visibly see from the outside; it is one ugly fan! I will either return these or take them to a local computer story that buys back items for in store credit and buy something from them.

> 3 dayCool and quiet sidefan. Noctua is a great brand, never had any problems with their fans. They are worth the money if you can afford them.
