> 3 daySuper quiet with included noise reduction cable. Its on top, blowing down into my Pioneer Elite VSX-49TXi receiver which is fantastic audio, but generates more heat than it can cool on warm days. I cant hear the fan running and the receiver stays cool. Perfect. Yes,I know it should be updraft, but the fan blades make noise in that configuration. This fan moves enough air to feel the air coming out the bottom of the receiver. Im using a 12Vdc wall wart plugged into the switched power outlet on the back of the receiver. The 12 volt turn on signal from the receiver is only rated at .100 A (100 milliamps) and cannot supply enough current to power the fan.

Greater than one weekIts quiet. It uses pwm. It pushes air out. Thats what I bought it for. It really looks great in my haf xm. Just happy I got it quickly and got it for under $25.

> 3 dayLouder than expected for a Noctua fan, and much lower air flow even on high (and loud).

Greater than one weekLove the product! I bought 2 for my case and the work perfect for the application I have them for in my case, and they dont make much noise. These are my first case fans from Noctua, but a family member of mine has had his for a while and they work great! I have theyre processor fan and love it! Like anything though, you do have to dust out your case for these to work at their optimum though.

> 3 dayNoctua makes possibly the best fans on the market. I have never had a bad experience with their products and they offer a 6 year warranty on their products. Their customer service is also amazing. Most fans will not last you that long; most fans stop working after 3-4 years if you are lucky. This is the reason you buy these fans because you know they will last you a long time and you always have the warranty as a backup option in case it dies out.
