> 24 hourPurchased two of these fans for use in a Silverstone GD09B HTPC chassis. Was worried that running two 80mm fans in here 1) wouldnt fit, and 2) would be too loud. Am happy to report that these fit side by side easily in the rear exhaust area on the Silverstone case, and that they are not audible using the standard profile from my motherboards pwm header.

> 24 hourI have an older AMD Phenom II, running Linux. The fan finally died. It all still works, part of my home lab. Noctua 80mm fan was almost a perfect fit. Had to drill out the aluminum just a bit. Super quiet.

Inner Surface Microstructures
With the tips of the fan blades ploughing through the boundary layer created by the Inner Surface Microstructures, flow separation from the suction side of the blades is significantly suppressed, which results in reduced blade passing noise and improved airflow and pressure efficiency.
