> 3 dayI bought one of this to replace the stock Cooler Master fan on my CPU heatsink. Pricey little fan, but well worth every cent. Plenty of reviews on the web claim that Noctua fans are inaudible or silent and this is definitely not the case. But they do sound extremely pleasant, like an A/C vent, giving out mild white noise thats hardly noticeable, even in a quiet environment.

Im going to replace another CPU fan in a different desktop computer now that I know how quiet it is. Next I will buy some Noctua fans to replace some other noisy fans in my computer.
