Noctua NF-S12A PWM chromax.Black.swap, Premium Quiet Fan, 4-Pin (120mm, Black)

The Noctua fans are poorer quality. It makes a weird noise due to a faulty component. Fans ended up failing in less than a month. Very disappointed with the companys products. I also got a cpu cooler from a retail store and it runs really hot. I think the newer stuff is poorer quality either due to cutting costs or changes in designs. Recommend trying other brands first. The Noctua name is carrying the product. Thats all.

Noctua is a leader in the field for a reason. The fans keep my components cool while producing negligible noise under load.

Wow. Only when you have fans directly next to each other can you really hear the difference. For case side panel airflow I had a stock 200mm Cooler Master Fan then 4x 120mm Corsair AF Quite Edition Fans and now 4x Noctua NF-S12A fans. I must say the Noctua NF-S12A are more silent and provide the same if not more airflow even at max rpm. The cable is a bit shorter than the grey Noctua NF-P12 redux-1700. I like that the 4 pin cable is short and was able to use a splitter cable on the fans and turn the cables that the Noctua fans come with into extension cables. Wish the fans came with splitters or more extension cables. The vibration pads work really well in stopping fans from rattling case at high rpm and you have a few colors to suit your preference. I might not use all the colors on current PC, but it is nice that there are plenty spares and able to use on other Noctua Fans like the grey Noctua NF-P12 redux-1700.

Quite fan, excellent quality, 6-years warranty, I wish the packaging is lesser quality to make the fan cheaper. The packaging is too good. Wish in the future, RGB lighting is an option.

While a little on the pricey side this fan is almost silent and ontop of that adds better airflow than the previous fans used for the computer.

Matched with my build, great noise level, good performance fan. Tho I’d recommend the other versions if you want some stress relief for Cpu cooler, this one is more for airflow efficiency

I swapped these into an old Antec case that had manually selectable fan speed. These are directly controlled by the ASUS motherboard, and can run at very low speed when the system isnt under load. To see if the computer is running, I have to look for the lights on the keyboard, because I cant hear the fans. I have unintentionally turned the computer off several times since I installed these fans.

If you’re here then you’ve likely heard of Noctua’s legendary engineering reputation. This fan is incredibly silent. Like— quieter than a bunny hopping around in a plush meadow. I would highly recommend this for use as a primary (low impedance) exhaust fan, seeing as how the exhaust fan is usually the greatest source of noise on a pc besides a GPU and potentially the front intake (if your PC is working really hard).

Packaging is top notch, the fan design is excellent, and so far the install and performance have been awesome. You can tell the build quality is the best. Highly recommend.

Title says it all. This is great Noctua quality as expected. Fan is quiet and powerful. I’m sure it is equivalent to the tan and brown fans in performance, and why wouldn’t it? Noctua makes great fans!
