Noctua NF-S12A PWM chromax.Black.swap, Premium Quiet Fan, 4-Pin (120mm, Black)

These move a ton of air and they are the quietest fans Ive ever used. The rubber dampers are a nice touch, although it would be nice to have 4 of each color if you want a one color scheme.

I will avoid re-stating details you probably already know (Noctua fans are quiet, yes) and information that other reviewers have mentioned. Instead, I will focus primarily on the aspects that make these fans (and all Chromax fans for that matter) a poor value proposition.

These are the best fans you can get by far. It’s like buying a German car, They are just built differently and engineered better. Now that they are made in black and not the old brown color, this is a no brainer! They move a lot of air and are super quiet. This is the one to get if you want to pull air out of a Case. If you can fit them, just get the 140mm ones for the front, back and top! They are perfect for static pressure and moving air.

It would have been nice to have actually gotten the right fans

They are dead quiet, much higher build quality than the case fans that came with my case, and thermals stay chilly, though I dont overclock or push my system to hard.

How could the best case fan get better? Easy, change the color from ugly to all black.

I swapped out the rear fan on my PC as the original fan was part of a water cooler system and designed primary to push air through a radiator. When I changed out and moved my radiator system to the top of my PC, I wanted a fan that runs as lower rpm but still move air and this one does that well. Seems to be doing the job well and didnt really care for the LED lighting, so this was a good solid choice.

If your hesitant, don’t be. All those YouTube videos about noctua having the best fans is not a bunch of bs they are correct. Look up perfection in the dictionary it’ll say noctua. Now in black. Buy extra vibration pads though they only come with 4 of each color. Recommend these for case exhaust fans. For intake case and cpu coolers go with the nf f12. Need 140 mm go with nf a14 all in black

Doesnt include the rubber mounts that replace the case screws. Other than that, it works great.

Cools great. Excellent airflow from this design. The other design of this model is better for air resistance areas like heatsinks or heavy mesh.
