08-04-2025Im using this with the fan under the heatsink blowing down onto the motherboard. My V750 SFX PSU is mounted to the front for neater cable management and cooler clearance. Im using Corsair CMK16GX4M2Z3200C16 memory. Plenty of memory and motherboard clearance. I scavenged a NF-A15 off my old NH-U14S cooler as a push fan. Running SOTTR benchmark 3 times on ULTRA settings, the CPU temp was no more than 57C with an ambient 22C (CPU fans set to silent in BIOS). Im still finalizing the build and will likely replace the NF-A15 with a NF-A14 PWM fan, since the A15 has half the air flow as the A14.

> 3 dayThe main plate on the heatsink had a scratch across it. Im not sure how this happened as there was no damage to the packaging and the protective cover was in the correct place. If I built my computer within the 30day return period I would have returned it to Amazon. I reached out to Noctua and their customer service said it wont affect cooling performance and might actually improve it. I think thats just a joke, if it improved cooling performance then they should prescratch all of their heatsinks, Lol.

> 3 dayI was a slightly concerned about this fitting with the fan on the TOP of the cooler and still being able to fit in my Hyte Revolt 3 case. It turns out that it fits perfectly. To the millimeter.

> 3 dayI was very disappointed when I opened the package to see that there was thermal compound already on the cooler as seen in the pics. A couple of fins on the cooler was also a bent at the edges.
