Greater than one weekI thought that a lot of what I’d heard regarding this fan was simply hype, but this truly blew me away. I had purchased a pre-built PC that came with a cheap, inefficient CPU cooler. After being recommended this fan several times by both my friends and internet search results, I decided to give it a shot. WOW - my average CPU temps when idling and under lord have dropped by 20-30 degrees Celsius (68-86 degrees Fahrenheit). Not only that, but the fan is DEAD SILENT, I have never had such a quiet fan before PERIOD, let alone one that performs so efficiently and powerfully. The look and design of the fan can be polarizing for some people, but I personally like the non-RGB fans, and I think the brown and tan looks very clean and classy, with the alternative option to get the fan in black as well.

> 3 dayWOW!!! JUST WOW!!! This is an AMAZINGLY high quality piece of kit!! If you are thinking about buying one of these coolers, dont!! Just stop thinking and just buy one already!! Seriously, its not often i am impressed by any PC product whatsoever, but this is seriously high quality, really nice quality metal craftsmanship, totally silent fans because they are larger 140 mm ones and dont need such a high RPM. This thing screams quality, even in the packaging, its so well packaged theres no way it could ever arrive damaged thats for sure. Noctua are evidently SERIOUS about their kit. Thinking about water cooling? Then just dont!! This thing runs 15 to 20 degrees cooler than my previous water cooling system, with the added bonus that there can be absolutely no possibility of any liquid leaking out and killing my $1400 graphics card, obviously, because there isnt any water in it to start with.Cant recommend this product highly enough, if youre considering buying any new cooler, just buy one of these, it is quite large though, so maybe check the dimensions 1st to see if you have enough room 1st though. Even in my system it is quite a close fit near the ram, but it does fit ok.

> 3 dayThe Noctua NH-D15 is hands down the best air cooler on the market. First off, the packaging on this item is excellent. Everything was neatly divided into its own separate box, one for Intel mounting, AMD mounting, accessories, (thermal paste, custom screwdriver, extra mounting hardware, etc.) and a box for the secondary fan and the heatsink itself. Ive been building PCs for years, and do it as a living, and I have to say that for such a large heatsink, the install took me a few minutes. Keep in mind that this cooler is pretty massive, and quite a few cases may not be able to house the beast. But it runs extremely quiet running off the motherboard, and extremely cool in my Corsair Air 540 case. Aesthetically, its not the prettiest heatsink Ive seen (bequiet!, Cryorig) but its not nearly as bad in person at it looks in pictures. I pictured a horrid, chrome looking nightmare sitting in my case, and its not nearly as bad looking as I wouldve expected. All in all, great, great heatsink, and for all of my other builds that require air cooling, Noctuas NH-D15 will be my go to cooler.

> 3 dayMy PC is now virtually quiet all the time even during heavy gaming loads. I was dreading buying and installing it as I read about its pain in the rear installation process but with YouTube vids and internet to help, its not so bad
