I am not a fan of aios because of their high cost and limited lifespan - a big chunk of metal like this is not going to become worthless in 5 years, plus the included fans are top quality 140mm units that I expect will outlast the life of the system.

> 3 dayChecked Noctua’s compatibility chart with specific mode of motherboards. It said that it fit my Gigabyte x299 Designare EX mobo but it does not. The backplate that came with the mounting hardware is not big enough to fit the motherboard. What a waste of time.

> 3 dayBest air cooler. Ive had a few Noctua over the years and if you dont want to watercool then the best option is a top end Noctua. Just make sure your case has the space for whatever big noctua cooler you choose. Measurements are available and you can do a quick check before hand.

> 3 dayImpresionante!. Tengo un i7 7700K. Con una refrigeración liquida de 120mm push&pull se ponía a 80-90ºC (sin turbo: 4200mHz) a tope ventiladores y bomba. Con este disipador de Noctua consigo quedarme en 50-60ºC. (con turbo: 4500mHz). Encima es que no se oyen prácticamente los ventiladores
