> 3 dayThis is a great CPU Cooler (Noctua NH-D15, Premium) and much better than some other popular versions and makes out there. (and that included the Noctua Redux versions) This thing works! Its silent, and it cools like it means business. If you can get it in your case (its big) my advice is to just buy it already. This cooler is the next best thing to water cooling that you can buy. In fact in many ways its superior, but Ill leave that to the techie experts to argue over. This is the cooler to buy if you want one of the best air coolers there is. The Motherboard install brackets are solid metal (not plastic) and the spring type installation is easy as pie to work with, and the dual fan are silent when running at full speed. The cooler also doesnt interfere with the Ram slots on the motherboard either - Even high ram with heatsinks on them (due to its shape near the CPU) The box is loaded with accessories too. You have everything you need to install this cooler (for AMD and Intel) Anyone who has one of these coolers already knows what Im saying here. Just buy this Cooler, but make sure you can get it in your case, so measure your available space very carefully. Its a beast! Im 100% happy with this product. (and Ill not be going to water cooling) because theres no need to with this.

> 3 dayPut on my I9 12000K. Overclocked it. This thing is better than a water cooler! I am amazed! I can run it at 100% load on all 16 cores at 5300ghz and it will keep it from thermal throttling.

> 3 dayAfter researching the market for the best heatsink, this unit proved to be the best buy. Definitely a Monster of a heatsink but, the new i9 chipsets require massive cooling power. This unit delivers that power without the hassle of stressing about liquid lines running through your nice new expensive build.

> 3 dayThis fan is awesome. I have a PC with an Intel i9 9900k processor. The PC was originally liquid cooled and after about a year the pump on the cooling system stopped working suddenly. I replaced it with the factory recommended intel fan and it sucked. From what I have read the i9 runs hot and the intel fan could not keep up. It was loud and ran constantly. I am a pretty heavy user and use my PC for 6 to 8 hours a day at a consistently moderate load. After a couple weeks I had enough of listening to the Intel fan struggle so I ordered this Noctua fan. Wow! This thing is awesome. Keeps my temps in the high 40s to low 50s consistently all day with out a problem. It’s sooo quiet you’d have to put your hand to the PC to feel for airflow to know it’s running. I’ve been running it for about a month and I can say this is a great choice. It is a pretty large unit so be sure it will fit in your case. Will update after another few months for longevity.

> 3 dayNoctua NH-D15 installed in Cooler Master mid tower case. Relatively easy to install and keeps the cpu nice and cool. No coolant pump so no future coolant pump problem as there was on my Corsair Hydro Series H115i after only 9 months and a cost of $140. My system makes minimal noise but I cant tell if any is from the cpu fan as the case has 2 fans and two disk drives always running. Im not even sure if the fan is being turned on as the heat sink is staying cool and I dont feel any air flow. Unit comes with two fans but Ive installed one as recommended unless you need additional cooling, maybe this summer.

> 3 dayBest cooler on the market! I upgraded from a failing water cooler. I chose this because I didnt want to spend a ton on another water cooler and am happy to find this actually runs cooler than my water system ever did!! Well worth the price!

> 3 dayBought this to replace an out of warranty h100i. This cooler is performing much quieter and better than the closed loop water cooler it replaced.

> 3 dayHad my Kraken x62 die, and and figured I would give Noctua a try since Ive heard good things. Temps-wise water-cooling/AIO is still king, but the sound makes it worth it as this thing is dead silent. temps under load are slightly higher, but Im okay with the trade off given the noise and reliability. For the record unless you get fairly old stock, this comes with the AM4 brackets,. Figured Id throw that out there since some of the answers on here suggest otherwise.
