Core i7 2500k, 4.2ghz, gets up to about 70°C under synthetic load. Works amazing!

Super easy to set up compared to liquid cooling. Ran an i7 13700k at 100% for 5 minutes. Warm air was blowing out but it sure as heck works and isnt super loud! Im using it in an NR200 with mesh panels, fits perfectly. I bent the fins a little bit by accident but easily fixable with a credit card.

I installed this cooler in a new computer build in April of 2022. I made sure to buy the black one since I didnt want the brown one in my completely no-windows case. Because reasons. Mostly, I didnt want to see brown fans every time I opened the case to clean it. Based on other reviews, Im not the only person who feels this way. I digress. The install was straightforward (although there are quite a number of steps compared to the old snap on coolers). Once inside the case, the cooler is whisper quiet and takes good care of my i7-12700K processor, even under load. A few things to note:

I bought this for my 13900k and it would thermal throttle under no stress at all.. I spent 120 dollars for it and 40+ to have it shipped to my country. I feel absolutely ripped off.

If youre looking for a high end cooler that stays pretty quiet and keeps temps down - this is it. Better than the 212 Black Edition - but also double the price. If you want a high end build to cool down high end components, splurge and get this. Mounting is an absolute breeze.

Received this CPU cooler to replace the original NH-U12A. Not sure what Noctua did, but the fans are quieter than the original brown/tan ones that came with the NH-U12A. I have these Chromax fans set to 1500rpm max through the ASUS AI Suite and they perform FANtastic and are super quiet. I was running some of the new PHANTEKS T30 fans on the replaced NH-U12A the past two months and they were very good as well, but the colors arent black enough to match this Chromax version and they made an annoying mechanical sound above 1200rpm. This CPU cooler is a win!!

I am running this with my new 12700k non-overclocked and the temperatures easily stay around 64-68C during a stress test. With a custom fan curve its super quiet while still easily keeping things cool.

Cooler came in a Amazons box to protect retail box from getting any damage and potentially from cooler getting damaged.
