Cooler came in a Amazons box to protect retail box from getting any damage and potentially from cooler getting damaged.

This cooler is awesome! First off, I wanted to go air cooling over water cooling on my i7-12700k and after countless hours of researched I arrived at this. It looks amazing, and the performance for an air cooler is unreal with it not going over 60c even on intense games which is equal to/outperforms many larger air cooling rivals.

Comes with everything you need and great instructions!

It works very similarly to D15S on 12700K but it is a lot smaller and better looking and comes with two flagship NF-A12x25 fans that cost $44 each. I am not worried that this would bend the board and break off during movement either. It feels much more stable because of its size. I think most people should skip D15/D15s and buy this instead. The installation is also easier. I also had a chance to try Scythe Fuma 2 Rev B which cost almost half as much. It is similar in size and performs well but not good enough for 12700K imo. It was definitely running hotter during benchmarks. But if you want to save on cost, I would recommend that, not D15S. This is not twice as good as Fuma 2 overall, more like 20% better. Overall I think the heatsink itself is not anything special, its the 2x NF-A12x25s that make it work. I think if you buy two of those and put them on a cheaper tower cooler, it would perform similarly. Most of the money here is going to those two fans.

so, i have a matrexx 55 deep cool pc case, and I was very concerned that I wouldnt have enough clearance for this in my case, even though I did check before hand that I would have 165 mm clearance ---

Removed my Corsair H100i AIO liquid cooler in favour of this system - on my 5600X, the temperatures under load were tyically in the 60s to early 70s, matching, if not beating my previous system. Well done to Noctua for this, going to keep it for years and years to come. Only issue is that its quite pricey.

On achat cohérant quand on veut un produit de qualité et fiable. le placement sur le nouveau socket 1700 dIntel cest déroulé sans problèmes. Je recommande sans hésiter.

I am using this NH-U12A with a i9 12900k CPU and in a Fractal Torrent case which is a match made in heaven for an air-cooled system. This comes with the socket 1700 kit and installation is simple with great instructions.
