Noctua NH-U12S SE-AM4, Premium CPU Cooler for AMD AM4 (Brown)

Noctua rimane una sicurezza per i sistemi di raffreddamento. Primo dissipatore della casa nativo per i nuovi socket AM4 di amd. Compatibile con le nuove schede madri uscite con tale socket. Il radiatore e la ventola da 120mm fanno il loro lavoro egregiamente, mantenendo la cpu attorno ai 30°C anche sotto carico leggero....Il sistema risponde bene anche sotto sforzo, grazie alla sua ventola PWM configurabile sia tramite i vari bios, sia dalle utility delle schede madri. La ventola è molto silenziosa e quando viene portata al massimo degli rpm non diventa rumorosa o fastidiosa.

As one who has worked with Cooler Masters for years and never really invested in a CPU fan more than $30, I decided to give Noctua a shot this time. Their performance is well known and frankly, the CM coolers for AM4 werent really in stock. Figured, what the heck...Ill splurge a little.

This thing is amazing! My AIO watercooler died after only 3 years of light use so I decided to go back to air cooling. Figured I may as well go for the best that money can buy according to reviews. Installation was the fastest of all my previous coolers. I was honestly surprised to see my peak gaming temperature at 55C instead of 60+ which is where Ive been the past year on my AIO water cooler. AND on top of that, my fans are much quieter than Ive heard them in nearly a decade. Im not even using the low noise adapter and I can barely tell my PC is running. Im only hearing my 5 case fans while idle and its much quieter than ever with less random revving up the RPMs. I think I may just buy this brand going forward as its worth the extra money.

Cant mount the cooler as no AM4 bracket is provided even tho the description states its for AM4!!! now I have to buy the kit separately and stop the buildof my pc till it comes in.

I was looking for a better cooler for my new Gen 3 Ryzen chip. It was running almost 80C during games on the included wraith cooler and I just wasnt going to have that. Ive had good luck with temps from aftermarket coolers from CoolerMaster in the past (the hyper 212 line) but my god the installation was always rage-inducing. Seriously. Installing those things will make you hate your life and re-examine all of the choices you made in your life that led up to that point.

Compré un 3700X y primero intenté usar el ventilador que viene de serie (Wraith Prism). La temperatura con tests de carga oscilaba mucho (en algunos test más exigentes como Aida64 incluso superaba los 90 grados) y jugando se ponía a unos 78-80 grados, pero lo peor es que el ventilador era muy ruidoso, por lo que empecé a mirar alternativas de disipadores por aire y dí con este Noctua no puedo estar más contento.

This heatsink isnt easy on the eyes but it keeps my 5600x pretty damn cool and stays quiet. It was easy to install even for idiots like myself. I have not built a PC in over 8 years.
