Noctua NH-U12S SE-AM4, Premium CPU Cooler for AMD AM4 (Brown)

Es buenom han bajado temperaturas hasta los 60 max despues de 12 h de uso.

I cant even hear the fan and my Ryzen 2600 never peaks over 65*C, even with a low fan curve.

Installed this on my 3900x. Using offset voltage of -0.1. Prime 95 temps over 10 hours stable, max temp 76 C

Abbinato ad un Ryzen 5 1600, sono rimasto stupefatto dalle prestazioni di questo dissipatore. Premesso che ho una casa fredda e un case con 4 ventole, in idle la temperatura del processo si aggira sui 27/28 °C, giocando a Battlefield 1 la temperatura massima è stata 38 °C. Effettuando uno stress test sul processore ho raggiunto al massimo 44 °C. Con questi risultati penso che cè un bel margine per loverclock e anche per un utilizzo intensivo durante lestate. La ventola è molto silenziosa alle velocità basse, alle velocità alte non lho testato perché il processore non voleva scaldarsi. Il montaggio è molto semplice, io ho visto semplicemente un video tutorial sul sito della Noctua. Le dimensioni del dissipatore sono tali da non invadere lo spazio sovrastante le Ram per cui piena compatibilità con qualsiasi Ram. Attenzione alla larghezza del case, è a abbastanza alto il dissipatore.

Apart from stock coolers this is one of the easiest cpu coolers I’ve mounted in the 10 years I’ve built pcs. Temps seem a bit better than the 212 evo and the included fan is amazing!!

Keeps System Cool So Far Probably Need Second Fan But Not Yet

I bought this cooler to replace the stock cooler on my AMD Ryzen 5 3600 CPU. Im not a gamer so the computer is primarily for business software. I built the computer a few months back and it was very noisy. So I decided to replace the two noisiest components, the power supply and the cooler. First I replaced the power supply since that was the louder of the two. I went for “Thermaltake Toughpower GF1 750W 80+ Gold SLI/Crossfire Ready Ultra Quiet 140mm Hydraulic Bearing Smart Zero Fan Full Modular Power Supply 10 Year Warranty PS-TPD-0750FNFAGU-1 “ This is a fantastic PS, absolutely quiet..5 dB till about 60% (i.e. 450 Watts of quiet power). After replacing the PS, the stock cooler noise became even more irritating. I researched a few different coolers, most of which were in $40-50 range but had a little more noise levels. Since I wanted a very quiet one, I decided to go for Noctau brand based on reviews I had read an a few different websites. I selected Noctua NH-U12S SE-AM4 primarily because it is meant for AM4 processors.. This is a BIG cooler, so I looked up for compatibility with my hardware. Even though my motherboard (Gigabyte B550 Aorus Elite) did not show up on the list, I measured the space required for the cooler and found it could easily fit.

I wanted something quieter and more efficient than the stock Wraith Stealth cooler that came in the box with my AMD Ryzen 5 3600 CPU. I considered all available air coolers. I read a lot of reviews before making my final decision and the Noctua NH-U12S was my first choice. This CPU cooler is one of the best out there. I installed a second Noctua NF-F12 PWM, Premium Quiet Fan on it using the extra mounting clips which came in the box with this cooler and my CPU runs very cool and quiet! Dont hesitate if you need a very good air cooler. The Noctua NH-U12S is the best available choice and it will not break your budget.

This fit an AM4 mini-itx build with no issues whatsoever. Lets face it you really cant go wrong when getting Noctua fans or heatsinks.
