Greater than one weekI bought this for my Ryzen 9 3900X. The main intent was to have a non AIO, quieter solution than the stock cooler, and to obviously to keep the temps down in the hopes of getting better than stock boost clocks. I had been using a Corsair H100i AIO, but I was tired of the additional clutter in my case (weird I know) and this cooler seemed to be in the same ballpark according to reviews. Overall, in my experience, its not quite at the level of my H100i but it is really close.

Greater than one weekI have a Ryzen 5 3600. Every review I read said AMDs stock coolers were pretty good. What those reviews failed to mention is that its also a pain to install and that pretty good means idle temps of 52 C in a 75 F room. The Noctua NH-U12S SE-AM4 is super easy to install and my idle temps are now 36 C. Im very happy!

> 3 dayNoctua lives up to their reputation. Although their color choices dont mesh with the usual color scheme, entheusists can immediately tell if the builder knows their stuff based on Noctuas unique color scheme. You can spend a bit more for the all black version if you really want to color coordinate.

> 3 dayWorks great, keeps the r5 1600 under 60c when under load overclocked to 3.9. Easiest install of an aftermarket cooler Ive ever experience. Definately recommend.

> 3 dayThis is a whisper whisper quiet cooler. Absolutely dead silent .... Running this NH-U12S SE-AM4 on an amd 3900x. Idle is around 35-38c for me and my case and ambient temps. I got around 50-60sh Celsius when Im rendering a 4k video project. Not bad at all IMO. Obviously this is totally subjective and ymmv based on your setup but for me this is good.

> 3 dayI always buy after market coolers, but typically aim in the $20-$30 range, but decided to splurge on this one as I heard such good things. I while playing Overwatch at 1440p, while streaming video and had some other apps running, I peaked at 58c, but was usually in the 40s. This is with a Meshify case. Overwatch might not be the best gauge, but I am impressed none the less with these temps. I was idling around 35c.
