I have considered fish oils for years but always kind of give up halfway through my research because there are SO many kinds, claims and so many price points! I never understood what is the BEST value? Is it good quality or poor quality? At one point when I was taking my Prenatal vitamins a couple years back I had fish oils with pair with them. I tried two separate kinds and can not remember the brand or price. I just remember the burp back made me sick and I stopped taking them after a second bottle because they were so bad. The oils were very small too so I was shocked at how a little oil could be so nasty. A doctor recommended these to me when I had a scare back in February I swore I had pneumonia but I was just sick, not sure with what. I have asthma and he was telling me this helps with inflammation associated with asthma but also can improve lung function. I told him WHICH ones do I take? He named a very few and one was Nordic Naturals. I found it very easy to research Nordic Naturals with so much information from their website, reviews and even the information my doctor gave me. I have been taking Nordic Naturals Ultimate Omega for a few years. I have tried many cheaper brands. I can tell for certain that quality matters if you want results from your Omega 3 supplement. After taking Nordic Naturals for about 4 weeks I began to feel the difference. It gives me more mental clarity, stamina, and helped with my dry eyes. No fishy burps. Cheaper brands did not have these same level of noticeable effects as far as I could tell. The effects start to wear off after discontinuing your intake for about a month. So, regardless of which brand you choose, choose a quality brand.

These are much more pricey than your typical drugstore fish oil. However, they make it up by quality and the amount of actual DHA and EPA in the pills. No fishy smell. I will continue purchasing this brand as my go to fish oil pills.

First, Im not sure why pain relief is listed as a category for which stars can be awarded for this product- I dont believe its indicated to be effective for use in such a manner. Ive been supplementing with this specific brand and type of Omega 3s for about nine or so years now. I find that the main benefits I receive are a noticable stabilization of my mood swings (Im diagnosed bipolar, and prefer to take the least amount of pharmaceutical drugs as possible), and a lessening of brain fog (I also have fibromyalgia). The other benefits are subtle- you cant exactly pin down what they are, but you definitely notice when youre not taking them. When Ive gone through difficult financial times in the past I would give up other things in order to continue taking this- its effects are not dramatic, but they make a big impact on my quality of life. This being said, they are quite large pills, and may be difficult for some to swallow, but the company makes a version of Omega 3s that comes in much smaller pills, so theres an option for those who have difficulty with the large size of many supplements.

After reading some reviews, I was worried about fish burps, but I keep these in the freezer and make sure to take them with a meal and have had zero issues with them. They dont smell good if you stick the nose in the bottle so just dont do that and youll be fine.

These are wonderful they have kept my eyes very healthy as promised and My cholesterol has gone down steadily since I started taking them too. They dont taste fishy or gross and they dont smell weird.

I am a fan of taking the RIGHT supplements, and I try to take the highest quality ones I can find. Although Ultimate Omega was towards higher end cost wise, I feel its worth it. I can be really sensitive to tastes and smells, and this fish oil doesnt trigger either. You know the ones... you take them and burp up fish breath for a few hours and even the pill has the smell to it. These Nordic Natural Fish Oil ones dont. They have a subtle lemon flavour thats not overpowering, and I have never had the fish burps once. They dont upset my stomach either, and even though the form factor is a little large by necessity, I dont find them hard to swallow - the capsule coating is fine, not sticky or rough. I took these during my pregnancy too and even though I had some reflux days especially towards the end, these never made me sick or made that worse. They seem really good quality, and even though were on a bit of a budget at the moment, we still make room in it to buy these. Highly recommend them.

Easy to swallow and no taste. No burps.

This Omega Fish oil is great. You cant taste anything when you swallow it. It is easily swallowed despite being on the larger side. It doesnt help pain like a regular pain medication would so dont expect that.
