NOW Solutions, Avocado Oil, 100% Pure Moisturizing Oil, Nutrient Rich and Hydrating, 16-Ounce

For years I struggled with eczema which means my skin was extremely dry, cracking and itching. I have been healed from the eczema but I still have dry skin. I use the aveeno lotion which works well with my skin. Then I started using this avocado oil in combination with the Now Vegeyable glycerin and, Im telling you it has done wonders for my dry skin. My skin is softer and it does a great deal in keeping my skin moisturized. I really dont need to use lotion when I use this oil with a little glycerine. The only drawback with this oil is that, its heavy and the scent is not appealing.

Was looking for something to use on my extreme dry and sensitive skin...on my legs, arms and back due to atopic dermatitis. I get more relief using topical prescription steroids but decided to keep it and use it on my aging hair (from reading other posts about the product). I use Rogaine but was still losing hair...being a scientist at heart I decided to try the oil on my hair before I go to bed. Have been using for several days now and have already noticed that Im losing less hair each morning after I shower. If this turns out like Im hoping Rogaine may decide to add this amazing oil to their product!!!

I love, love, love this product! . use it in the shower as an after shower body moisturizer. Trying to figure out a way to incorporate it into a facial moisturizer. It doesnt leave my skin feeling greasy, but it also doesnt disappear as though I didnt put anything on (does that make sense?). Also, there is no scent so wont interfere with anything else I may put on. I really wanted to find an alternative to brand name in shower moisturizers and I have. This will be a regular part of my shower routine. By the way, I honestly dont know if the five star review belongs to avocado oil in general or this particular product as this is the first time Ive used avocado oil. Either way, Ill likely get this brand again next time.

I personally love this avocado oil! I use this avocado oil at least once month to help keep my hair hydrated. I can truly feel and see the difference after using this oil. After using this oil you will notice that your hair is shinier, smoother, and overall healthier. I would recommend this avocado oil to anyone who wants to improve the health of their hair. Quick tip: Have noticed that it is important to use cold/warm water when rinsing off the oil from your hair because otherwise, I have found that it tends to stick to my hair when I try to rinse with hot water.

I have had this oil going on 2 years . It’s my go to oil in the winter. As I live in Utah and my skin gets very dry! I also mix it in and use it in my hair which gives it a Nice shine

This NOW Foods avocado oil is a great value for the price! I use a lot of essential oils so Im always looking for something to blend my oils with, and this works great. Its much less than the almond, vitamin e or coconut oils and it works just as well. I have also used this on my scalp. I suffer from a dry flaky scalp and nothing seems to help, if I rub a tiny bit of this on my scalp while my hair is still wet after washing it, it seems to keep the flakes away. (Or at least lessens them!) I wouldnt recommend putting it on a dry scalp though, it can leave your hair/scalp looking greasy.

Ive tried just about everything for the eczema I get on my knuckles. My skin gets dry and cracks open, very painful, I think Im allergic to something in most hand soaps. I had just got this for my wife because she was having allergic reactions to coconut oil which is what Ive always used as lotion. I used this on my hands because the Avocado oil stays on my skin, coconut oil seems to just dry up quick. Anyways after a few days my eczema on my hands went away and havent delt with it since.

This is my first time using Now Avocado Oil, and I am very impressed with the results. It feels great on my skin. It goes on smooth and is non-greasy. I use it by itself as a body oil, and I also blend my essential oils with it to make aromatherapy skin care products. I will purchase this product again. The price is affordable and perfect for my budget.

Avocado oil is a necessity for anyone who works with oils that go on the skin. This is actually food grade oil, so you can use it for cooking. What makes it good for the skin, though is the fact that it is light and has very little smell, and what smell there is is pleasant. I use this as an massage oil because of its pureness and lightness. I also use it as a base for oil mixes. For example, tea tree oil has excellent anti-microbial qualities, but at full strength it can irritate the skin. Mix it one part tea tree to two parts avocado oil, though, and you have a great essential mix.
