NOW Solutions, Avocado Oil, 100% Pure Moisturizing Oil, Nutrient Rich and Hydrating, 16-Ounce

For years I struggled with eczema which means my skin was extremely dry, cracking and itching. I have been healed from the eczema but I still have dry skin. I use the aveeno lotion which works well with my skin. Then I started using this avocado oil in combination with the Now Vegeyable glycerin and, Im telling you it has done wonders for my dry skin. My skin is softer and it does a great deal in keeping my skin moisturized. I really dont need to use lotion when I use this oil with a little glycerine. The only drawback with this oil is that, its heavy and the scent is not appealing.

NOW Solutions always been my brand with dem oils! I always treat my hair with avacado oil and stayed it for 30 mins before i take a shower! Same with coco oil

I have always been about beauty on a budget. This product is a GREAT one for quite a few purposes! I LOVE using this on my hair (scalp and on the ends) as well as on my skin! Its GREAT. I promise you will see a difference in your skin with consistent use. I put a few drops of just the oil alone on my face at night before going to sleep (after washing my face) and in the morning simply rinsing my face with hot water and then mixing a few drops with my moisturizer. Your complexion with be smooth and my face has a nice glow to it as well, I havent put foundation on my face in a few years (this is an addition to my regimen of weekly exfoliating and using dove to wash my face). It is a great product and I cant stress enough how good it is on hair and scalp! This is a great product for growth and elasticity (again, you should be going to efforts to take care of your hair and washing it at least weekly if you have african american hair). I have always used the Now Solutions brand as that is the brand that I always see when I am at the health food store. I was happy to see a larger sized bottle offered here on Amazon since I am only able to find the 8oz bottles where I live and one 16 oz bottle with shipping still costs less than 2 of the 8oz bottles!

Okay, so I wanted a good oil to use during pregnancy. It was between this, sweet almond or jojoba oil. Seeing that Ive had good results with avocado oil in previous products before, I decided to go with this one, which is a little more expensive, but I figured can be multi-purposed, so its worth the extra. At the time when I received product, I had Angular Cheilitis, which is basically an inflammation/cracks on the corners of the lips from having pregnancy-induced Anemia. Fairly common to see among preggo ladies. Ive had the condition for like a week already and it wasnt going away even with lots of lip balm, vaseline and my holy grail lip cream (Laneige lip sleeping mask.) I was also taking iron supplements to speed the healing along and used nipple cream on top of all that! But none of those things worked. As a last ditch effort, I decided to put this on and though the oil was emollient, I didnt think it was going to produce any miracles. Lo and behold, though, the next day the cracks in the corner of my mouth were at least 85% healed up! I was incredulous. Is there something in this oil that supplements what my body was lacking? I dont know, but I just wanted to share my experience. I kept it up and within three days, the angular cheilitis was almost completely gone and I felt normal again. Ive decided to keep using this for my belly (to prevent stretch marks) and possibly for some perineal massages. After all, if it helped my skin so much on my lips, maybe itll perform some miracles for the rest of my body, too! Fingers crossed.

Now Foods does it again! This product is wonderful! I make a ton of DIY bath and beauty products at home. Avocado oil is a staple in many of the recipes that I make. This is a wonderful oil to add to your favorite recipes. Avocado oil is loaded in antioxidants that are great for your hair and skin. It also contains many vitamins and rich omega 3. It works great alone as a nighttime oil for around your eyes and over those fine lines and wrinkles. It’s also suitable for all skin types so everyone can benefit for this oil.

I definitely believe that I have been had! I reviewed the sweet almond oil and I just received the other bottles that I ordered. These oils are not impressive. I’m feeling like they are just different shades with different labels. They have the same consistency, neither of them has even the slightest scent which is kind of hard to believe being 100% pure and organic. As you can see in the pic, if I remove the labels you can’t tell the difference between the sweet almond oil and the avocado oil! I gave the pure lanolin a good review and now I’m feeling like I may have just been desperate due to the money I spent! I am not satisfied!

Wow, Now, youve sold me for sure! I am a big fan of avocados and now I am a big fan of this avocado oil. When I first saw this product, I thought to myself, really, avocado in an oil for your skin... I can say that their claim of softening without that greasy residue is what I experienced the first time I used it and every time since. I apply it to my skin immediately after drying off lightly when stepping out of the shower and it just soaks right in into my skin. Plus Ive even used it lightly on my face before putting on my daily moisturizer. I highly recommend this oil.

I use a lot of oils and natural products as moisturizers, toners, and for other health and beauty needs. Avocado oil is a GREAT moisturizer and is just so good for your skin and hair. I usually put it in my hair after washing when its still wet, and on my body while its still slightly damp. The oil keeps both feeling SO SOFT!! I have very thick hair that can get super frizzy so I use this in place of a serum. I dont think it has a smell. I mix this sometimes with other oils to make it more moisturizing.

I am on my second bottle; the first bottle lasted about 2 months (and that is putting it on 2x per day). I have tried a bunch of oils at this point--- trying to find an all natural, hexane free oil and/or lotion for my skin to (hopefully) prevent stretch marks during pregnancy. I have tried sesame oil, coconut oil, sweet almond oil, jojoba oil, and an oil from Weleda. For the price, you cannot beat the Avocado oil--- and so far so good--- at 8 months pregnant no stretch marks (which I am prone to; as I do have some stretch marks on my thighs from weight gains/loss over the years). I put it on in the morning after a shower, while my skin is still damp, and it soaks in relatively quickly for an oil. When you put it on dry skin it remains a bit oily for a while before sinking in.
