It dissolves quickly and is tastless. I would like to add that it is my understanding that l lysine is sensitive to heat. Since that is 110 degrees it may not be as effective mixed with coffee.

I originally ordered the pet L-lysine for my dog who had warts, but it was expensive, $20 for 120 grams. This is a much better deal and I can use it too. I started taking it for shingles, drop a scoop in a glass of water. Mixes well and no taste. Im using 3 scoops a day (divided) and my dog gets 1.5 scoops along with thuja for his warts. For reference, he is 110 lbs.

Expected L-lysine to taste somewhat salty --like potassium salt -- as this product does. Its quite palatable though. I mix it with a little warm water & drink. Ive taken L-lysine for years & drinking the pure powder with water is much easier for me than swallowing multiple large or giant pills. Easy storage, transport, etc. I just put some in a smaller, labeled bottle & dip out with portable measuring spoon -- kept in small bottle. Can be put in capsules if prepared. I dont think theres a better product on the market.

Since I began giving him 1/4 tsp of l-lysine daily, his eye is much improved, and both of the cats allergy symptoms have greatly improved. Please Note: You dont have to buy l-lysine powder marketed specifically for cats, which is usually more expensive. You can use this l-lysine powder for your cats as well as yourself. L-Lysine taken orally is also helpful in reducing the severity and duration of cold sores.

I use this product for my feral cats and I mix it with hot water . It does not mix well. Some of it becomes very hard after putting it in water so I have to throw it out. Waist of money. I will pay more for a better product next time

Good product. When I start getting chapped lips, a twice a day dose stops it.

I like for price and value. A large container that will last for a long time. I add to my daily vitamin drink.

Ima be honest, I purchased this by mistake, I thought I was buying L- Lysine for cats which is fish flavored but turns out this product is good for both cats and humans. The product is flavorless so I put it in my protein shake in the morning and sprinkle it in wet food for the cats. Definitely value for money. I keep good health generally so difficult to see any benefit, but at the price what do you have to lose. Boosted immune system for me and feral kitties

My cat has feline herpes so her eyes are really goopy. Ive tried EVERYTHING including the most expensive eye drops/creams/ointments the vet has. I even tried lysine cat treats but they all did nothing. I figured Id give Lysine one more go with this supplement. I mix it into her food and it has done WONDERS. I recommend giving twice a day, as once per day was not as effective.

Had the smaller container before and it was granular. This gigantic tub is powdery and messy. They should use consistency between sizes. It’s very hard to handle and messy.
