I am diabetic and take a shot each day. When I moved to another state, the convenience of taking my used syringes and unused or expired medications to the doctor and pharmacy location was no longer available. These sharps containers are 2 gallon in size and have a large opening on the top to insert syringes, etc. I keep mine under the kitchen sink. As a insulin dependent diabetic, I use a lot of sharps each day. These containers last me a bit over two months. Most of my injections are from insulin pens, so I am using small needles. If one is using only syringes, the containers wont last as long.

Getting pens and needles in is a snap. Boxes hold alot and lock when full to prevent spills.

As a diabetic, I have test stripes, sharps, and pens for proper disposal. This is an excellent size for me, a senior, to handle and still meet the requirements of the garbage collection company.
