> 3 dayThese sharps containers are 2 gallon in size and have a large opening on the top to insert syringes, etc. I keep mine under the kitchen sink. As a insulin dependent diabetic, I use a lot of sharps each day. These containers last me a bit over two months. Most of my injections are from insulin pens, so I am using small needles. If one is using only syringes, the containers wont last as long.

> 3 dayThis is a great value for your money!!! I can get three 10 gallon sharps containers for $24.00 and change!! I I am diabetic and I take injectable medication once a week so I need to keep extras!! Very good value considering that I am on a fixed income!! They are sturdy and when they are filled all you have to do is slide it shut and then push it a little bit further and you should hear it click when you here the click the sharp container has locked!! Warning though do not accidentally lock it while it’s empty or partially filled the very first one I used I did this by accident and while I did get it back open it was a major pain to get it back open!! But that is the way it is supposed to be once locked it’s not meant to have to be opened again!
