> 24 hourA MTB buddy of mine turned me onto to these grips. Ive taken a few long rides on these and I really like them. They have a larger diameter than my previous grips, reducing fatigue and numbness and my hand stays in position, meaning they dont slide outwards, while riding in any terrain. I highly recommend them, especially for the price! Just a quick note. If you order them and dont see the set screws, look inside the grip.

> 24 hourGot these to replace the stock, too skinny, grips on my fatbike. Dont have the specs on my stock grips, but these have a bigger diameter with more rubber and provide me with a more secure and much more comfortable grip. If anything, I have smaller than average hands. Firmness of the rubber seems perfect. Hardware, despite a few other reviews stating otherwise, seems perfectly fine. Overall, very happy with purchase!

> 24 hourVery “sticky” and soft. Works well when hands are sweaty as well.

> 24 hourBest grips ever! I have been using these for many years and wouldnt use anything else. They never move and give superior grip on the most aggressive downhill

> 24 hourThese grips are phat and cushy and seem to be very durable. Easy to install double clamp system. Great colors.

> 24 hourI guess its not really their fault but dont say they fit all yamahas jetskis if they arent really universal. The other side kinda fits but youd have to cut it to make it work. Not worth the headache. Sucks because the grips are nice just wish they had better compatability. Also their caps should have holes for them so you can screw them in

> 24 hourThese are my favorite MTB grips. Tons of grip and soft enough to be comfy. I have them on all of my bikes.

> 24 hourThese are nice soft grippy hand grips. I have big hands and these seem to be a great fit for me. When reading the reviews, some people complained that these were shipped with missing parts. The packaging was a bit odd, and I thought I was missing things. Once I carefully unpacked everything, I was able to find all the parts, but I can see that some people would think parts were missing. For example, the end caps are nested in to two of the locking rings, so if you do not take a good look, you think they are each one piece and that you are missing two locking rings.

> 24 hourIve been on a journey with a 2003 GT Palomar. I didnt care for how it rode, fit or shifted, when it was given to me new in 2004. So after a few short rides it was put in shed. When it saw daylight for a ride in 2013, it was hit on the rear wheel by a car. The wheel was bent so badly that I was barely able to limp it home with the V-brakes removed and pads released. Then it went back in the shed. In 2021, it saw daylight again as I was going to junk it. I didnt think the cost of a wheel straightening, or new wheel and tune up at a bike shop was justified on a 20 year old $230 bicycle. But, it but it had less than 100 miles on it and seemed to be comparable with some new bikes in the $500 and up range. So I cleaned it up and figured Id try to fix, service and sell it. I watched videos and fixed the indexed shifting and straightened the wheel. Then gave the old GT a full teardown and service. On a test ride, it was smoother and quieter than anything Id ever owned and I figured no one would give me what I felt it was worth. It also had a Chrome Moly frame that I prefer over the ride of the newer aluminum frames. So, I decided to try to make it fit me better instead of selling it. I replaced the stock seat post with an Orign8 400mm and the bars with Bucklos risers to make the bike fit better. It fit better, but still wasnt right. So, I thought new grips would feel better and might help with the fit and handling issues. Based on some research and reviews, I decided to try the ODI grips. Especially as several reviews mentioned that they were comfortable and fit larger hands. Even though they were longer than the 100mm stock grips on the GT, I ordered them in. Hindsight being 20/20, I ordered these grips, before trying to simulate how a 130mm grip would feel on my bars with the grip shifters. When I simulated a narrower hand position on the bars during a ride, I found that the bike feel worse. But, when I tried a wider hand placement on the bars, the bike rode better. So I figured when the ODI grips arrived, Id return them and began searching for grips that seemed as plush as the ODI, but narrower than the stock 100mm grips I had. Unfortunately, I didnt find anything else I wanted to try. When the ODI grips arrived and I put my hands around them, they felt great. They are very comfortable. Firm, but have give when squeezed and are not slick on a bare hand. They are also larger, outer diameter, than my stock grips. But, they were too long for what I wanted. After looking at how the grips are constructed and how the locking rings work, I decided to try to modify them to meet my needs. I took a measurement, a deep breath and felt stupid taking a hacksaw to these brand new grips. A utility knife and file were also used to complete the job. In the end, the modification worked perfectly and the grips are maybe 80mm now. They solidly lock on to the bars, feel great and work perfectly with my Revoshift shifters. Ive done about 100 miles so far, bare hands and with light gloves, both on pavement and light trails. All has been good and comfortable. No regrets on this purchase and will be buying a set to replace the old Ourys on my 2006 Cannondale F2000SL. Please know the grips did not solve my riding and handling problems. I found more videos on riding position and eventually, after gradually lowering my seat about 1/2 and moving it forward about 1/4, the bike became a great handling, stable, ride. I also played with rolling my bars, shifters and brake levers slightly forward and backward. Hope this helps and ride safe.
