> 24 hourI ordered three of these chargers for my HTC Evo 4G Android phone and none of them charge my phone(or rather they appear to provide enough current so the phone thinks its charging, but it is charged too slowly to make any practical difference. Two of the chargers also put the phone into car mode. According to my confirmation email the following third-party seller(s) and products were involved: The Mobile Solutions Company items (Sold by AudioHaus,LLC): OEM HTC USB Travel Charger Adapter U250 / CNR6300 / 79H00095-14M In one sense the third party seller is at fault but this kind of thing has happened to me before when buying through Amazon. Presumably the reason I would buy from an unknown third-party seller via Amazon is that Amazon is in some way verifying the seller. But its apparent that in reality Amazon is doing little or no research and is instead letting its customers figure out which sellers are running scams.

> 24 hourI purchased two of these from Enchanted Trading Co (although the seller is not important in this case), because I find having only my OEM cable and wall adapter limits the battery life of my phone when Im out for more than 12-16 hours at a time. As far as value is concerned, I got two of these sets (USB cable and wall adapter) for $6.10 each. I considered it a steal, as local retail stores were selling *JUST THE CABLE* for between $25 and $50. As for design, the flaw that I have found with these cables is a pretty large one that was present on my original cable as well as these new ones. The cables lack the ridged, molded plastic sheath near the connection on each end (for an example of ridged, molded plastic sheaths see every picture of a plug on the wikipedia page for USB). As a result of this missing sheath, any bending or pulling stress is translated directly to the connection between the cable and the plug. This stress has resulted in the cable sheath pulling back from the plug and exposing the multi-core wire inside, which has also frayed slightly and become unsightly (in the case of my original cable), as well as causing me doubt as to how much longer it will work. To remedy the problem, Ive wrapped both ends of all three of my cables in electrical tape to simulate the molded plastic sheath, but Im not optimistic about the benefits. All said and done: 5 stars for good value, 3 stars for poor durability (without loss of functionality, so far), averaged to 4 stars. UPDATE: After using this product daily for a couple of months, it has done exactly what I thought: The unsheathed ends near the plugs have given out, and the cable no longer works. My device (a phone) is no longer even recognized as being attached to the computer. It doesnt charge anything, even though the cable looks okay. I have zero doubt in my mind that unprotected stress at the cable ends caused pulling and the wires separated/broke from the plug contacts. 5 stars for good value. 1 star for poor durability. Averaged to 3 stars.

> 24 hourCouldnt have been happier when I found this. I wanted to get the exact same USB charger and cable that had come with my HTC Surround, and when I found this listing from seller SF Planet, I had to order it right away. I had been searching all over the web for a while, and stores would either have a generic charger without a USB cable or the original charger with the cable, but at a least in the $30 range. So, if you really want the genuine HTC USB travel charger that came with your HTC phone, with the same high-quality USB cable, then this is your buy. It even comes sealed in the soft, earth-friendly, white baggies that were used when you found the charger and cable in your phones box.

> 24 hourI bought two of these as a replacement for my HTC EVO. One for home and one for travel ( I lost the original and didnt want to pay the 30 or so dollars for a replacement)They charge the phone. However when you try to use the phone when pluged in with these chargers, the phone is jumpy and non responsive most of the time. the screen wont respond with the swipe of your finger like normal. Its the weirdest thing. When you unplug the phone it acts normally. I connected my friends OEM charger and my phone acted normally. So these products are grey market knock offs that dont meet spec!!!!! Do Not buy. I am returning mine and buying direct from HTC!!!

> 24 hourI was very concerned when buying this product because there were many unfavorable reviews. I ordered it sold by D-Lingo, fulfilled by Amazon. When it came it looked exactly like my original. Both the cord and the AC adapter seem to work in every way. No complaints. Seems like a pretty good deal. My experience was positive.

> 24 hourWhen I lost my charger, I went to Radio Shack to get a new one. The charger I purchased there didnt charge the phone. I returned it, and purchased another charger at Sprint. That charger didnt work either. Then I looked at the tag on the Sprint charger -- it said this is not a data cord. I tried the charger for my Kindle (since it is a data cord) and voila! - my phone charged. I found this charger/data cord on Amazon and voila it worked! It worked so well, I purchased a second one.

> 24 hourPurchased a different charger first, supposedly compatible with my HTC Incredible, and at half the price of the OEM. Phone display showed it was charging, but it was not. Into the dumpster with that one. Purchased this OEM charger, and it works just like the original one which came with the phone, because it is that one. So take it from me, dont screw around trying to save a buck with a compatible charger, you wont.

> 24 hourIts OEM. The only thing I didnt like was that the cable didnt last long. After 2 months the cable was crap but then again do cables last long.

> 24 hourThe little (which is a good thing) power supply showed up faster than I thought and worked exactly as advertised. In other words, you connect it to the phone, plug it in and it starts charging. Why thats so complicated for other products, Ive got no idea, but this one did what it said it would do and is compact, as it was advertised to be.

> 24 hourSave yourself some headache and do not purchase this item. The item arrived in what seemed like factory packaging. Upon opening and connecting my phone, the charging symbol came on, but no charging happened. After over an hour plugged in, my phone had actually LOST 4% battery. I read many negative reviews about the item, but since it was fulfilled by several different sellers, I figured it was worth a shot since it was only $5. I was mistaken. I believe the sellers, all of them on this item, are knowingly selling factory rejects as brand new retail quality items. If this had cost me more than $5, Id have raised hell about this BS. My guess is thats exactly what they counting on! For $5, its not even worth contacting these deadbeats about a refund, since Id pay more than its worth just to ship it back to them. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS ITEM.
