Im left handed and Im glad this can be for lefties as well! The safety lock feature is great to have. Can cut up to more than 5 layers of fabric, so its quite sharp.

This smaller rotary cutter is wonderful even for cutting thru 3 or 4 layers of fabric.

I bought the OLFA 45mm Ergonomic Rotary Cutter based on customer reviews. I like the safety locking mechanism, but was disappointed in cutting polyester stretch fabric that the blade doesnt stay sharp very long, or that there wasnt one spare included. Fortunately I had purchased additional blades, but those too do not make it through an hours worth of cutting on a self-healing mat. I see there is a sharpening tool available, so I guess Im on to a third party product.

I gave to grandaughter. She loves it.
