Nice double safety feature. Very sharp. The only thing is that the instructions on the back of package is in Japanese only.

I love this thing, its so much nicer to cut out fabric with it over traditional scissors. The one Id used before was sooo easy to accidentally retract, whereas I dont have that problem at all with this.

I chose this one because it was recommended to be one of the safest ones for a good price. While this is true the one thing I would mention to anyone who either has a child or is someone who fiddles with things is that the blade isnt fully safe. The button keeps the blade from coming out but where the blade sits a finger can still slide a cross the blade even when locked. Other then this I would definitely recommend this

I bought this for a friend as a gift and they have simply loved it! Its definitely a must for quilts and such.
