Ive tried all the cheaper rotary cutters but when my craft supply store was having a major sale on notions and tools I decided to upgrade. This rotary cutter is so comfortable in my hand and feels so much safer than the cutters where I had to push a button with my thumb. The fact that when I put it down the blade automatically retracts makes me less worrisome that Ill do something foolish and cut myself because when you release the black handle it retracts. The red button can be used to lock the blade in or out.

This is brilliant. So much better than the cheaper one I had bought previously.

I LOVE this. Its so much easier to use than the non-ergonomic ones!

I cut a lot of denim for my job, and I am excited to have found a product that will do the job faster & easier than scissors

This was my first rotary cutter that I added to my sewing kit and I love it! I can see myself using this model for years to cut fabric. Its been able to cut through a variety of stretch knits, flannel, and some faux fur used in my most recent projects. Havent noticed any dullness yet, but wow Im so happy with owning a rotary cutter. Now I just have to get some decent fabric scissors for those projects that arent cut out for a rotary cutter!
