> 24 hourSolid mouse, quick response but its not QI friendly. I bought this mouse specifically for its wireless charging because I have a QI charge pad. IT DOES NOT CHARGE ON THE PAD. Disappointed because thats the main reason I bought this mouse. Unless you buy its specific charge station, its not wireless charge. For those who dont mind a wire charge, its a good buy. But if your like me and bought this specifically to avoid wire charging, keep looking gamer.

> 24 hourI dont know if this is a localized problem that only involves me, but my mouse will randomly set its DPI to the lowest setting and wont let me change it (Even in the Omen Command Center software) so I wouldnt recommend this to E-sport gamers unless you are okay with using the lowest DPI setting on this mouse. The only way to fix it is to reach behind my computer, plug in the micro USB cable, and connect it with a cable. This is really inconvenient because I use my desks built-in USB ports to charge the mouse and my computers ports are all on the back of it except for 2, one for the wireless receiver for this mouse and one for my Omen Headset. This is really frustrating for the price, but all I use my setup for is for video editing and light gaming so it doesnt really harm me that much. This happens twice or even three times a day for me, so now Ive gotten used to charging my mouse on the floor at night so I can leave the cable back there. The mouse is really comfortable, I dont even think about me holding it half the time. And while I dont need the ambidextrous stuff, I do appreciate the engineering involved and the magnets are a blast to fidget with. The materials are pretty good, the mouse feels heavy but glides fast and without much force. The RGB is limited with the bad Omen software, but this could change with future updates to the Command center so keep that in mind. (Written 2/8/20) The mouse connects to the computer on boot almost instantly, way faster than my Omen Sequencer keyboard which is wired. The latency is not even noticeable, even when I play Overwatch and other Esport games on occasion I never felt latency. I really want to recommend this mouse, and I own so many Omen products, but I cant because of that stupid bug. Maybe just update the firmware, after all the MicroUSB can carry data so just make me plug my mouse in like usual and install some new firmware to fix it. For 120 bucks, I expected a mouse that would at least be somewhat reliable but this thing really disappoints. Edit (3/14/20): So, another month has passed, and I think the issues are pretty much gone. I dont know how, but honestly, I dont care Im just glad the mouse is back to normal. Now, the mouse is easier to recommend, but I still have some gripes with it that have developed over time. New pros: -The battery life is great, considering the RGB. I get around a week of 3-6 hour use of it on a charge. -The mouse stays clean, even with abuse; I eat food at my desk to save time a lot, and I have noticed that my mouse is much cleaner than my keyboard even though I use it way more. I do clean my keyboard, but not my mouse so its kind of scary how clean it is. -The DPI issues have stopped for a good while now, so thats good. New Cons: -When wireless charging, I find it difficult to find the sweet spot to charge. I end up spending like a full 30 seconds shifting it around to find that perfect spot where it charges and if you nudge it it stops. -When charging wirelessly or wired from a wall outlet, the RGB stays on even after hours have passed without movement. (The RGB is really bright at night with no other lights on) -This is a nitpick, but it bothers me a little so I thought I would mention it; the scroll wheel sounds different scrolling up rather than down where it is much louder scrolling up. EDIT: (5/02/20) The mouse got a firmware update, it probably fixed the issues I was experiencing. However, now a hardware issue has arisen. I lost one of the magnetic pieces of the mouse and now theres a big gap in the side. Keep in mind while purchasing that there are no extra magnetic pieces included.

> 24 hourLooks great matched with my Omen desktop. Having the mouse charge just by leaving it on the top of the pad is super easy. While hardcore gamers say a mouse has to be wired, I sure cant tell the difference and dont want to deal with the cord. I like the extra buttons I can program for games and the ability to change the mouse speed on the fly is nice. I work from home as well as game so this mouse gets a LOT of use and after several months of use I have no complaints.

> 24 hourSo my ONLY complaint about this otherwise awesome mouse pad is the description. In the description (at least at the time I write this review), one of the bullet points is Qi wireless charging - Charge your wireless gaming mouse and Qi-enabled devices such as smartphones while you play The key words I read there, and lets see if others think the same, was the While you play. So here I am thinking, Oh wow, so this pad can keep my wireless mouse charged while I play! Awesome! So I ordered this as a bundle with the HP Omen mouse, which has yet to be shipped (thanks, COVID), excited that I can finally ditch the cord and game for long bits of time without having to worry about the mouse dying in the middle of a tense gaming moment. Unfortunately, when I unboxed the pad, I found that this mouse pad only has a small charging spot for devices, with room enough for one device to sit on. It does work. My phone is charging on it as we speak. But my hopes of having an actual pad surface that keeps a mouse charged DURING gaming again went up in smoke. So I am now back to knowing there are no pads like that out there. Still, thinking this was the first pad that could do that, I bought it, and I am still somewhat okay with the purchase. While my main purpose was the expectations I ranted about above, the pad itself IS a very nice pad to have. Its HUGE, so do NOT expect this to be a portable hard surface you can pack with your laptop and take with you. You will NOT be doing that. But for at home on a desk or table, this pad provides a large, nice surface to play on. It also lights up nicely and with the HP Omen software can be customized on the lighting. I do have to point out that if you do not have the matching wireless mouse to go with this pad, and end up using a corded mouse, the cord WILL catch on a device you might have charging while you are moving the mouse around. So the wireless charge spot is only useful if you use this with a wireless mouse. I will not be wireless until Amazon ships the mouse I ordered with this. Would I recommend this pad? YES! I actually would. I just wanted to write this review to let readers know in detail NOT to expect a surface that charges your wireless mouse while you play, as the description leads you to believe. Cheers.

A Gamer at Heart
> 24 hourThere is plenty to like about this mouse. Obviously, it is wireless, which is fantastic. I sometimes get a bit OCD about the cable from my wired mouse either dragging on my gaming pad, or getting hung up on the back of my desk. Wireless simply equals freedom. The other thing to like is the lag free performance. If there is any lag, it is imperceptible by me. I play primarily shooters, and the Omen was just as responsive as my wireless mouse. I also like how modular the mouse is - buttons can be removed or added to allow a high level of customization. The mouse also looks great. As a potential downside, since the mouse is wireless you will either have to charge it, or spring for a charging pad. Its not a deal breaker for me, because I also use a wireless gaming headset that I simply charge overnight between gaming sessions. Charging between sessions isnt really a big deal if you dont want to pay for a charging pad. Im really on the fence about whether I like the Omens construction material. Its plastic obviously, but I find it kind of sticky on my hand. Compared to my G502, it feels almost tacky, whereas the G502 feels smooth like silk. I also prefer the ergonomics of the G502. I love the G502 because it fits my palm perfectly and with its thumb rest, almost feels custom made for my hand. The Omen thankfully has thumb rests, but it isnt shaped quite as comfortably as the G502. This is entirely subjective of course because it depends on the size of your hand (I have probably medium sized hands for a male.) With the Omens modular design, however, you probably have a better chance of a perfect fit since you can go with a thumb rest, or without if you prefer a claw grip. The Omen offers a wireless mouse made for gaming with plenty of customization options. I think its biggest draw back is the price. $130 is a bit steep. It really comes down to whether you are willing to pay a premium to go wireless. If the answer is yes, the Omen is a great choice.

> 24 hourI bought it for $50 instead of $130 and have no complaints. Have an HP OMEN laptop and like the fact I can use the Omen Light app to sync the keyboard and mouse lighting. If you see it for sale, its pretty great.
