Greater than one weekFirst, I like to say the mousepad is MUCH bigger than I expected, I was surprised at the size of the mousepad. I am not a PC gamer and bought the mousepad purely for aesthetics, to go with my older OMEN laptop so the size is probably very useful for gamers but it is ALMOST the size of four regular square mousepads. It takes up a lot of space on my writers desk with my laptop. I thought, not a big deal still excited to use it. Then, I realized it has a USB-C cord attached and my computer does not have a USB-C port. Then I said, no worries it came with an adapter. I watched a review to figure out how to change the colors of the OMEN logo (HP is really bad about including full and DETAILED instructions) the video, although nice, was not helpful. The only thing I realized from the video is that the there should be lighting around the edge of the mousepad and mine wasnt on. I found another video that instructed me I needed to download the OMEN Command Center to control the lighting and it was available in the Microsoft Store. After downloading the Command center the Zone 2 lighting was still not working. After researching it was explained that unless you have a USB-C port on your computer it will not work. That was very disappointing to find out. I do a lot of upgrading on my computer and my OMEN works like a pro and I wont buy a whole new computer just to have an USB-C port. And the adapter is a nice touch but if plugging in the adapter doesnt give the mousepad full functionality then whats the use? So, wanted to update that tonight I decided to randomly try something. Because the mouse pad requires USB-C for power I thought, what if I tried my USB-C power adapter for my Samsung phone (came with my Samsung Note 20 Ultra at 25W)? And it worked. Because its not connected directly to the computer the USB port located on the outpost mouse pad wont work for USB dongles, I mean it will of course power them but since the outpost isnt connected directly to the computer, the USB port would not be either. I dont need that functionality since I am using a docking station anyway. So, if you want the edge lighting to work just use a USB-C adapter, sometimes called power adapter type-c. I dont know the outpost power requirements (I tried to find them for you but couldnt get more than the QI charging - charges at 5W) so, try at your own risk, but again, Im getting beautiful edge lighting and that makes me happy! :)

Greater than one weekI really like this mouse pad. Unfortunately mine had a defect which made the outside rgb lights not light up. Returned it for another and it works great! The mouse glides over its surface and it charges my HP Omen Photon mouse quickly.

> 3 dayAs always, all Omen products look great paired together.. It can definitely be used for gaming or work - its a great mouse, battery life is insane and the removable side wings are nice to have. But if youre trying to grind ranked shooters or something a bit more intense you might want to keep a spare comp mouse with some glass sliders and removable/adjustable weights. The ONLY downside i can see with this mouse is its weight. Could be due to the wireless charging battery but it seems heavier than standard.

> 3 dayIm more of Logitech fan regarding PC peripherals however I took this one as a secondary mouse for my rebuild hp OMEN X900 system . I was pleasantly suppressed how smooth and nice this mouse feels could easily become my primary mouse however I still like the idea of constant charging while gaming like on my G903 Powerplay mouse and pad . Otherwise it really looks and feels premium and it is fast thats for sure .

> 3 dayThis is my first time using OMEN by HP Photon products. However, this wireless gaming mouse is a game changer! I own a several gaming mouse but so far I haven’t found a perfect one for my big, left handed user friendly gaming mouse until now. This gaming mouse has adjustable finger rest, changeable parts are connected via magnetics which makes switching out parts extremely easy. I have big hands and this does feel comfortable on my hand to grab without having pain. This gaming mouse is worth the price and the mouse doesn’t feel cheap at all. It has nice weight to it. Overall, this mouse is 5/5 star.

> 3 dayTheres 0 support for the Outpost. The product number, serial umber, nada. It died on me the other day after 14 months. Just outside of warranty if I could even register the product which I cant because it doesnt recognize any number on the device. Disappointed. I liked the wireless charging feature. No idea what happened cause it looks fine.
