Im more of Logitech fan regarding PC peripherals however I took this one as a secondary mouse for my rebuild hp OMEN X900 system . I was pleasantly suppressed how smooth and nice this mouse feels could easily become my primary mouse however I still like the idea of constant charging while gaming like on my G903 Powerplay mouse and pad . Otherwise it really looks and feels premium and it is fast thats for sure .

Battery life was pretty much none existent as soon as removed from cord it would only last 20 minutes

For me, this mouse is very comfortable and the tactile feedback from all the buttons is about the best Ive experienced, especially the side buttons. Being able to charge the mouse with a small qi charging pad is great also. I would have given five stars except for the fact that the side buttons dont produce a repetitive signal when held down so, when gaming, I have to be careful what functions I assign. Overall, its one of my favorite mice (I like to rotate mice and have about 4 or 5 connected at all times, set for left handed use).

This thing is a peice of junk, takes up a ton of space, doesn’t roll up it’s a solid slab, gets dirty easily, QI doesn’t even work, unnecessary wire

First, I like to say the mousepad is MUCH bigger than I expected, I was surprised at the size of the mousepad. I am not a PC gamer and bought the mousepad purely for aesthetics, to go with my older OMEN laptop so the size is probably very useful for gamers but it is ALMOST the size of four regular square mousepads. It takes up a lot of space on my writers desk with my laptop. I thought, not a big deal still excited to use it. Then, I realized it has a USB-C cord attached and my computer does not have a USB-C port. Then I said, no worries it came with an adapter. I watched a review to figure out how to change the colors of the OMEN logo (HP is really bad about including full and DETAILED instructions) the video, although nice, was not helpful. The only thing I realized from the video is that the there should be lighting around the edge of the mousepad and mine wasnt on. I found another video that instructed me I needed to download the OMEN Command Center to control the lighting and it was available in the Microsoft Store. After downloading the Command center the Zone 2 lighting was still not working. After researching it was explained that unless you have a USB-C port on your computer it will not work. That was very disappointing to find out. I do a lot of upgrading on my computer and my OMEN works like a pro and I wont buy a whole new computer just to have an USB-C port. And the adapter is a nice touch but if plugging in the adapter doesnt give the mousepad full functionality then whats the use? So, wanted to update that tonight I decided to randomly try something. Because the mouse pad requires USB-C for power I thought, what if I tried my USB-C power adapter for my Samsung phone (came with my Samsung Note 20 Ultra at 25W)? And it worked. Because its not connected directly to the computer the USB port located on the outpost mouse pad wont work for USB dongles, I mean it will of course power them but since the outpost isnt connected directly to the computer, the USB port would not be either. I dont need that functionality since I am using a docking station anyway. So, if you want the edge lighting to work just use a USB-C adapter, sometimes called power adapter type-c. I dont know the outpost power requirements (I tried to find them for you but couldnt get more than the QI charging - charges at 5W) so, try at your own risk, but again, Im getting beautiful edge lighting and that makes me happy! :)

This is a serious mouse for serious gamers. From the moment you take it out of the box, you can tell. It’s a big, heavy mouse with unlimited potential to make it a perfect fit for the individual user. Things that I felt were noteworthy: · It’s wireless, of course. I charged it with a standard wireless charger I had around (QI certified) with no problem. I saw where there is a special charging pad available, which those who spend large amounts of time might want to consider; you would never run out of power! · It does have a micro-USB adapter (port is on the front). · The dongle for it is nice and small. · You can adjust your DPI during use. As you make selections, the color on the mouse changes. Kind of cool. · You can’t adjust the length, but the flanges on the sides are removable. I happen to like the flanges, as I tend to use a “claw grip” when I’m using the mouse. With the flanges in place, I don’t get that irritating thumb drag. And the flanges are different sizes and changeable depending on whether you’re left or right handed. · Out of the box, the 2 buttons on the left side are already installed. I added an extra 2 on the right side (all parts included) to give me the full 11 button options. This mouse is smooth. I don’t think I’ve ever used one quite like it. Again, if you’re serious about gaming, this mouse may be for you.

This is an excellent accessory for anyone who has as HP Omen computer -- or for anyone, really. The Omen control software does a great job, and having the charging pad on it is a great help.

Theres 0 support for the Outpost. The product number, serial umber, nada. It died on me the other day after 14 months. Just outside of warranty if I could even register the product which I cant because it doesnt recognize any number on the device. Disappointed. I liked the wireless charging feature. No idea what happened cause it looks fine.
