If you’re in the market for a vertical laptop stand, or considering buying one, I would definitely recommend this one. It is made out of a solid metal, has great weight, and feels incredibly durable. Also, it is reasonably priced, for it’s high quality.

I bought one of these for work to save desk space and love it so much that I got another for home. Its heavy and will hold up your laptop, even a large older model. It works as well for my light slim work laptop and my heavy thick home laptop. The stand comes with a little wrench so you can easily adjust the width.
