At the tightest adjustment possible the space is 1/2 inch. The thickness of my laptop is 1/4 inch. This resulted in my laptop being loose and not properly secured when placed on the stand.

Hold my work Toshiba vertically off of the desk. Will fit just about any laptop with the adjustable screws.

I use it for my ThinkPad T440p with a 56++ battery and it works flawlessly. While Im on my PC it can hold my laptop with its lid flipped all the way up (180deg) and allows me to use the laptop as a second display with a digital Keyboard Mouse Switcher.

It’s literally perfect. Been waiting one for the longest time and this is the best thing ever.

So glad I settled on this stand for my MacBook Pro 13”. It’s easy to adjust and it’s super sturdy. I never feel like my laptop my slip out or tip over.
