I bought two of these. One for a 2012 circa 15 Macbook Pro (silver) and a 2019(?) Macbook air (space grey). If you use Macbooks, you know they get hot and for no reason the fan is running. I was hoping to increase the cooling by having is propped up vs. flat on the desk. Out of the box no adjustment needed for the 15 Macbook. For the Air, I did have to adjust it a bit. The stand comes with the allen wrench, which is a nice touch. Not much to it. Its got a very heavy base and supports the Macbook very solidly with stability. I have no qualms that it will topple over. The price is very reasonable for a nice solid piece of aluminum. In terms of color matching, both are close and the difference is not noticeable. I dont quite like the logo on the stand but luckily it only has it on one side.

Whenever I insert my 17 inch laptop it wobbles a bit. I think this product is best for small laptops.

Its narrowest setting still doesn’t hold a MacBook Air tight enough to prevent it from tipping over

I use this to hold my MacBook Pro out of the way on my desk whilst docked. I use a snap-on case for the laptop so expected to have to alter the the width of the stand but it fitted in just perfectly. Just make sure you place it in the stand so the air vents are not obstructed.

Extremely sturdy and worth the money. Item is made of solid aluminum and is adjustable to fit the device you are looking to hold. Would recommend!
