ONeill Wetsuits Child Reactor USCG Life Vest

Ordered 2 of these for my kids to use on our boat. They are light weight and not at all bulky. Even though the strap that goes between the legs and snaps in the front was loose, it did rub on the inside of my daughters leg like a rug burn. Next time I will try a little looser but still safe and see how it goes.

Took my little girl to Santa Cruz and we had a great time playing in the wet sand. She wore this the entire time we were near the water and it did not limit her movement at all and it gave me and the wife peace of mind.

I bought this for my 2 year old grandson. He is 30lbs. This vest fits him perfectly. It is very comfortable material and he didnt mind having it on at all. Recommend for boating or swimming pool.

Other than being somewhat small, excellent build quality. Given this is a type III (usually with less floatability) and the fact that it is somewhat small, I would suggest to buy on the lower end of the age range.

works great for my 4 yr old. the strap does a good job of keeping the jacket from riding up, however, it does rub his cheeks slightly, creating what looks to be a red rash like mark on his cheeks. It goes away in time, but that is my only complaint. He will grow into it, Im sure and we will get many more years to come from this jacket. Havent tried yet, but I would think that its perfect for waterskiing as well. stay tuned for updates.

The outside material is soft, but overall the vest is a bit heavy. It fits our very skinny 4 yr old with a bit of room to grow (around the body - lots of slack in the crotch strap). However, if your child is on the chunky side, I wouldnt recommend it. Other jackets/vests have much larger side panels.

I have a tall almost two year old and this was perfect for our river rafting trip. He was comfortable and very safe. It allows for excellent arm movement and will grow well with him.
