Perfect! Fits great (with extra room to grow) on my 42# daughter! Soft and flexible so wont hurt/poke/etc. once we get in the water! Packed and ready for the lake!

Fits my 3.5 year old comfortably and works great!

It fits my daughter very well, is well constructed and seems very durable. The only downside is that it seems to absorb water, and gets heavy.

Looks good and well made. Description is misleading - life jacket descriptions on Amazon would be so much better if they would simply publish the weight of person for which the jacket is certified.

My son isnt a strong swimmer yet, so we need life vests for simple swimming in town pools and state beaches. (all flotation/swim assistant gear needs to be US Coast Guard approved). This was very comfortable and gave him more range of motion in his arms while swimming. Unlike the classic boxy nylon life vests, this one didnt seem to leave a red mark of irritated skin under his armpits, which is always an added bonus.

My 4 year old grandson wears this and loves it. He started in the pool with it before he was swimming on his own. This is a nice sturdy weight and seems to fit him very well. (He is a smaller 4 year old, only 40 pounds and 40 inches tall - but had plenty of room if he were taller and the weight capacity is 50 pounds, so should fit for awhile.) I would recommend this to anyone, kept him very safe and feeling secure in the water.

The outside material is soft, but overall the vest is a bit heavy. It fits our very skinny 4 yr old with a bit of room to grow (around the body - lots of slack in the crotch strap). However, if your child is on the chunky side, I wouldnt recommend it. Other jackets/vests have much larger side panels.

Looks and feels like good quality but too small for 30-50 pounds. We son who is 3 and 37-lbs could barely fit in it. Seems a dumb design as well. The straps are adjustable to a much larger size, but the vest itself is not (if you want to use the zipper as pictured). But my son did have fun wearing it on his head for a while. I find it disappointing that a company like ONeill cant get their sizes right. Still, its good quality and he liked it so well try a youth size next.

Our child is on the top end of this size at 45 pounds, but I was worried about getting the next size up for 50-90 pounds. This one fit perfect, and was worth it as we ski/boat/swim in the lake. He did wear it once without a rash guard and said it rubbed under his arms, but no problems at all with the rash guard. It is pretty sleek relatively speaking so he doesnt mind wearing it at all!

Fits well. Rides up a little.

Keep your kids safe and put them into gear of the same high quality as what you demand for yourself.
