> 24 hourThis shield is great. It’s light weight one piece molded ABS plastic that’s very sturdy, durable, weather resistant, and paintable. There is a gasket on the wall side and only takes 4 screws (included) to mount it. It has a molded in gutter around the entire shield and drains down the wall so no water runs off in front of your camera. This shield works with many different brands of cameras, weather transmitters, or anything else you can think of to put under these shields. They provide a 1-year warranty which includes free parts replacement and lifetime technical support. Very simple, very easy. I got this to put my weather transmitters under to keep them out of the weather (ironic). 5 stars all the way!

> 24 hourI definitely want to highlight that this is quite big, but in the end, I feel that the cons dont outewigh the pros. Being able to protect my security camera from getting >too< cold from the winter snow, (even though they are waterproof and snowproof), is really quite an advantage for me, because I dont have to worry about any unnecessary outages. It truly blocks it so that no snow comes on top of your camera, so you dont even get blockage of your camera lens.

> 24 hourCovers your camera, top and sides. But, it could be a bit deeper. Larger cameras wont be covered. It is made from heavy plastic and mounting surface is padded.

> 24 hourI got this to cover my wifi extender. It covers it, protects it from the elements and I am still able to extend the wifi to wear I need it. I am glad that this worked out.

> 24 hourI was a little concerned that this is just made of plastic, but it is quite thick while being lightweight as well. Very easy to install on my wood siding home. Youll need a bit more time to install on stucco, concrete, or metal. This cheap investment is protecting my one fully exposed and very expensive security camera. Well worth it. Extra benefit. It helps keep the rain off the camera lens for a better view in inclement weather.

> 24 hourShould work out well. With all the rain and wind we get in the Northwest, I wanted a little more protection from the elements. The cover is made of plastic and while not super thin, you should be careful not to over torque the screws to avoid cracking it. The mounting plate on the rear of the cover does have a gasket that should also help repel water. The cover also came with mounting screws. I didnt like the white so I decided to give it a quick shot of black paint. As far as the price point, probably worth the money to protect your investment!

> 24 hourSeveral of my security cameras are mounted on a short tower in my backyard. With seemingly annual hail damage and +100F hot summer days, most inexpensive wifi PTZ or bullet-type cameras dont stand a chance. If you cant place your camera(s) under a soffit or porch, a sun-rain shield like this one is strongly recommended - even if the manufacturer doesnt state so. What I like about this shield: + It appears solidly constructed, made from a durable coated ABS material + Has a rubber embedded gasket on the back mounting flange to the keep elements out + Size is suitable to accommodate most bullet or PTZ cameras + Has a white outer shell for sun protection; black underside to help prevent reflection + The mounting hardware is included, and its simple to install Great product and price!

> 24 hourThis is very easy to install, just 2 screws. Works well with cameras pointed straight, but if they are on an angle they dont work too well.
