Original Matte Loose Mineral Foundation Broad Specrum SPF 15

I thought the foundation was a good Christmas for my granddaughter. Since she picked it out by brand name, I know she was excited to receive it and will enjoy it.

The product seems to cover many flaws quite well. I still use a liquid base concealer under the eyes, The power in some cases shows the lines on the face. Especially if you apply to much. Nothing works perfectly.

Goes on even and last all day. Have used it for years.

I live 1.5 hrs from a retailer for this product so I was happy to see that I could purchase it on amazon. I always use Bare Minerals Matte in Fairly Light. The first time I used the powder, I noticed it didnt go on the brush the same, then when I applied it to my face, it made my skin orange! It didnt cover any blemishes or red skin as the true product does either. I didnt use it again. Yesterday I made the drive to Sephora to pick up the real deal then compared the 2. Many small differences with the container/label, mostly with the color. Who knows what kind of toxic chemicals might be in the powder?! Complete garbage. Returned it. I notice that the price has dropped, I paid $26.49 when I bought it, if it were only $17 at the time of purchase, that may have clued me in that its not the true product!

Since switching to contacts I have changed my make up remedy. I use a stick concealer now (cover girl) and I was using the cover girl sensitive skin pressed powder (green compact). The powder would fade as the day progressed, but using my stick concealer with bare minerals it lasts all day, there is great coverage and I look bright eyed even at 3 in the afternoon. I dont need to touch up at all. Even with having combination skin, my skin seems to have taken a liking to Bare Minerals. I would refer this product to a friend, definitely.

I have loved this product for years. Its easy for busy people, feels great when you live in a humid place and looks natural. My complaint, however, is with Barebeauty247 who sold the product as fairly light when they knew it was fair. They placed a sticker over the actual color. Ive tried fair before and I recognized the difference that its one shade too light. Its too inconvenient to return but at least I can warn others.

The coverage is outstanding with this product. The size and price are great too. It has been long lasting too. Very happy with purchase.

I have always loved Bare Minerals. I will never go back to liquid foundation after using this. So great for sensitive skin.
