Works perfectly with my Google home app. I use the timer feature on 1 socket and google asst on another. only using 2 of the 3 sockets for now, but am happy knowing i can add another product at any time! Love asking hey google, turn on the spotlight! BAM! Spotlight On! If looking for an smart plug for outdoors, i would recommend this product. you cant beat the affordability...

I bought this as a dimmer, not needing the Outdoor rating; simply because I couldnt find any SmartHome indoor dimmer units that werent switch box/wall mounts. Im using it to dim, i.e., turn down the level of a Kombucha warmer mat, that I converted into a mouse pad warmer, for winter usage. Works right fine. The software also integrates well into the Samsung Smart Things ph app, that I use to control it. Timer function to turn off after a (customizable) specified period also works well. Recommended w/o reservation.

One completely quit working after 4 months. Otherwise theyre nice and easy to use/connect. I havent decided if Im going to give the Meross outlet another try so all outlkets are on same app, or just replace all outlets with a different brand. Maybe this one that stopped working was a one-off - who knows. UPDATE 5/10/2023: Meross reached out to me (without me needing to contact them) about the issues I was experiencing. They seemed genuinely concerned about my satisfaction with the outlet. They also wanted more information about the outlet itself so they could research the manufacturer of the components. They replaced the outlet and I had it asbout 2 days later. Everything is working as it should, and bot out the outlets are working perfectly. 5 stars on the outlet and the app. 10 stars if I could on Meross customer service!

Lets start with the Good news for this Outdoor Dimmer Plug. I have it installed and I will continue to use it for now. Bought this Dimmer Plug because I wanted both the timer and the dimmer features. Right now, my lights are dim, and the timer functionality appears to work. So Im ok with what I have. On the Not so good side, I have a few concerns. The Dimmer functionality doesnt really work for my string of lights. Regardless of the Dimmers settings, the lights pretty much stay at the same level, which is dim (i.e. Low Brightness). If I turn up the brightness level in the app, the lights do not get brighter. Ive run the Compatibility test several times as well, and doesnt seem to really do much either. As I was trying to get things to work as expected, by varying the Minimum brightness level and the Brightness Level, I was able to (by trial and error) find settings where the lights would not flash or pulsate, but this process wasnt really intuitive. So yes, in the end, I have the functionality I want, and the price was affordable. But Im not convinced that this Dimmer is going to continue to work as expected. Well see, but for now, Ill give this Dimmer a Just OK rating for now.

I cant describe how convenient and smart this thing is. I actually bought a reptile timer power strip and then I saw this, I returned the other and bought this. I need the routine function and its just perfect, set aside the ability to remotely control it from anywhere. And it is cheaper than the other one. A gem!

The plug works great! Super easy to set up. Love that I can control it from my phone. I purchased this for the timer feature, but sadly that part doesn’t work. Otherwise, a great outdoor plug.

Ill first off start by saying that the setup was very easy and it worked with Google Home really well. The physical design leave something to be desired because of the way some plugs wont be able to fit all the way in. Another issue I ran in to was when my schedule was supposed to turn off an outlet, 1 of the 2 strands stayed on, though very dimly. Ill unfortunately be returning as this doesnt work for my family and me.

Works beautifully

This thing is awesome! It has sunrise/sunset functions that work wonderful!! I thought I would have to be constantly adjusting the times for the lights to go on in the chicken coop but was so happy to see how smart this app is! I wanted my chickens (I only have four) to start laying eggs even in the dark, cold winter. So to lengthen their days I set up a Routine in the app, so that the rope lights turn on 1/2 before sunrise, then off soon after sunrise so they aren’t on all day, then on again 1/2 hour past sunset! Will add a bit more time each week, just thought I should ease them into it. It gets cold here in NY now and then so I have a coop wall heater plugged in as well as a deicer in their water. Temperatures fluctuate so it is nice to be able to see at a glance what is powered on and off and quickly change. Love this thing and the app!
