> 3 dayI bought these because I thought they would be easier to remove when I needed to access the outlet, but still tricky for a toddler. However they are very hard to remove and gave my husband a nasty cut on his finger. I would not recommend buying these.

03-06-2025I tried using these to prevent dust and debris from the floor from getting into the power outlets on my UPS. This was a mistake. The UPSs outlets are too tight. I installed a few, and for one, the outlets were too close, so they overlapped. Then, I could not simply remove them by hand. I pulled hard enough that I tore the handle off the plastic plug. I then had to use a screwdriver to pry the cover out of the socket (which did not seem safe at all), which removed the cover, but one of the plugs prongs snapped off inside the UPS. I had to then use pliers to pull out the broken prong, which fortunately snapped off where I could pry it. I was able to remove the others by hand, and I mean, they did work fine in the house outlets, in that I could remove them, but the UPSs outlets grip too tightly. When I did remove them, I could tell that the metal inside the socket had dug into the plastic cover, which was why they were impossible to easily remove. I ended up just covering the outlets in clear plastic moving tape.
