> 3 dayI like these because you cant see the outlet thru them which makes my toddlers even less interested lol. And they are difficult for them to remove, so it does the job.

> 3 dayI tried using these to prevent dust and debris from the floor from getting into the power outlets on my UPS. This was a mistake. The UPSs outlets are too tight. I installed a few, and for one, the outlets were too close, so they overlapped. Then, I could not simply remove them by hand. I pulled hard enough that I tore the handle off the plastic plug. I then had to use a screwdriver to pry the cover out of the socket (which did not seem safe at all), which removed the cover, but one of the plugs prongs snapped off inside the UPS. I had to then use pliers to pull out the broken prong, which fortunately snapped off where I could pry it. I was able to remove the others by hand, and I mean, they did work fine in the house outlets, in that I could remove them, but the UPSs outlets grip too tightly. When I did remove them, I could tell that the metal inside the socket had dug into the plastic cover, which was why they were impossible to easily remove. I ended up just covering the outlets in clear plastic moving tape.

> 3 dayI like that the flip-up handle makes it easy to remove these when I want to use the outlet. On windy days, the outlets on the exterior wall of my condo leak a lot of air. I use precut foam insulation pads behind the outlets faceplate, to seal around the perimeter of the outlet cavity. Then use these baby-proofing plugs to prevent air from coming through the outlet itself.

> 3 dayPerfect. And the tab makes removal super easy. The square is big enough to hide the outlet entirely, which works amazing for me because my outlets are not the same color as the covers. I was looking for a way to keep the dust out and hide the fact that they put tan outlets throughout the house. I don’t have kids, so if you’re looking for child proofing all I can say is they aren’t super easy to remove from tthe wall. You have to wiggle it with the tab out. But the tab is something I could see a child being capable of breaking, so there’s that.

> 3 dayThese are tougher to remove than most outlet covers without the little tab but our baby still figured out how to pull them out. Its enough of a challenge that she tends to find something else to play with but shes taken them out several times successfully. The search continues for truly babyproof outlet covers.

> 3 dayunnecessarily difficult to remove. i had to use a screwdriver to get them out. the little handle broke off when i tried to use that. there must be a lot of review padding here.

> 3 dayOk hear me out... I know these can be a giant pain to take out HOWEVER, I noticed that if I pre-open them and close them back up THEN put them in the socket, they are MUCH easier to remove and you arent left cursing under your breath just to use the outlet. My LO is 1 year old and has not figured out how to take them off yet.. and its not for lack of trying. Plus they give you a lot so Im very happy with these little guys.
