> 3 dayOrdering wall plugs the same color as my outlet was a lifesaver. The clear one always caught his attention but since putting in the white ones my child doesn’t even notice them. They are not easy to remove either.

> 3 dayI like that the flip-up handle makes it easy to remove these when I want to use the outlet. On windy days, the outlets on the exterior wall of my condo leak a lot of air. I use precut foam insulation pads behind the outlets faceplate, to seal around the perimeter of the outlet cavity. Then use these baby-proofing plugs to prevent air from coming through the outlet itself.

> 3 dayI tried using these to prevent dust and debris from the floor from getting into the power outlets on my UPS. This was a mistake. The UPSs outlets are too tight. I installed a few, and for one, the outlets were too close, so they overlapped. Then, I could not simply remove them by hand. I pulled hard enough that I tore the handle off the plastic plug. I then had to use a screwdriver to pry the cover out of the socket (which did not seem safe at all), which removed the cover, but one of the plugs prongs snapped off inside the UPS. I had to then use pliers to pull out the broken prong, which fortunately snapped off where I could pry it. I was able to remove the others by hand, and I mean, they did work fine in the house outlets, in that I could remove them, but the UPSs outlets grip too tightly. When I did remove them, I could tell that the metal inside the socket had dug into the plastic cover, which was why they were impossible to easily remove. I ended up just covering the outlets in clear plastic moving tape.

23-11-2024unnecessarily difficult to remove. i had to use a screwdriver to get them out. the little handle broke off when i tried to use that. there must be a lot of review padding here.

> 3 dayThey are a little tricky at first to remove. You actually slide the pull out portion down a bit then pull out to help grab so that you can remove the entire cover from the outlet. I give it 4 stars because of lack of clear instructions on the box.

> 3 dayThey do the job and cover the outlets in a non hideous way. Once the pull tab is out, they are really easy to pull out, but the slide down mechanism is VERY hard to get

22-11-2024Perfect. And the tab makes removal super easy. The square is big enough to hide the outlet entirely, which works amazing for me because my outlets are not the same color as the covers. I was looking for a way to keep the dust out and hide the fact that they put tan outlets throughout the house. I don’t have kids, so if you’re looking for child proofing all I can say is they aren’t super easy to remove from tthe wall. You have to wiggle it with the tab out. But the tab is something I could see a child being capable of breaking, so there’s that.

> 3 dayBought for our outdoor deck outlets to keep insects out. Tight fight makes it more difficult to remove than some we used in the past, but that is not a bad thing. Wish the came in smaller packs; we have 30 left over!
