> 24 hourGreat for both uses! We mainly use it when we’re out of the house but we’ve used it as both a standalone potty (on a trail at a park where we weren’t close to a bathroom) as well as in public bathrooms. If I have time in a public bathroom, I try to put down a toilet seat barrier (also purchased on Amazon) just to try to keep the bottom of the seat clean but I think this seat is way to wipe down and clean. I keep disinfecting wipes on hand when I’m out so I can wipe it down quickly before putting it away. Love that it comes with a carry bag…it’s a must for something like this but not all seats come with one. The only thing that I don’t love is that I find it a little difficult pushing the button while pulling out the legs all the way to the side (for use on a toilet) so it takes longer to do that when seconds count with little kids. I wished that I could just click the button twice and they would pop out to the right position (i.e. one click for stand-alone and two clicks for toilet). I still recommend this though because it’s sturdy, won’t pinch, fairly quick and mostly easy to set up, easy to clean and comes with a carry bag. If anyone from OXO is reading this, please consider the improvement I mentioned since second count when heading to the potty with a little one.

> 24 hourSo there I was...in the middle of Ohio on our first roadtrip with the toddler, also 6 months pregnant with kid #2. Drinking lots of water because duh, I was pregnant. Suddenly traffic on the Interstate comes to a screeching halt....and we are nowhere near an exit. My pregnant self immediately decides it has to pee....and HOW! Waze helpfully tells me its 45 minutes to the next exit - no bueno. Pregnant self is insistent...and then I remember I have this awesome toilet seat in the back of the car for our son to use. I did not hesitate to grab that sucker out of the trunk and bring it up to the passenger seat - because of course, we are stuck in a sea of semis and other vehicles at this point, so I cant get out and use it roadside. You have truly not lived until youve tried to levitate your 6-month pregnant butt above a travel car seat in front of your son and significant other. Anyway, it wasnt even all that hard to maneuver, its just that I was laughing so hard at the situation, which of course only served to exacerbate said situation. Point is, it works great as a kids travel potty, especially in unfamiliar hotels with unfamiliar toilets, as well as in Cracker Barrel parking lots. But dont discount its usefulness for adults in need as well. :)

> 24 hourThis potty has been a life saver. We keep it in the car and I also throw it in the stroller when we go on walks or to the park and I know there won’t be a bathroom close by. Super easy to use

> 24 hourThis product is great for anyone with young children. I’ve used this in the trunk of my suv many times. I’d rather travel with my own potty than have to use a Johnny-on-the spot or a dirty public restroom any day. It folds almost flat and is easy to clean. I reuse plastic store bags with a feminine napkin stick in the bottom to absorb liquid if I can’t immediately discard the bag. This prevents it from spilling in my trunk.

> 24 hourMy child used this on our trip to a friends house, we used it at the airport or the plane and at their home. It is very versatile and a great way to keep your child off those dirt toilet seats. It is a bit unsteady when laid flat on a toilet seat, if the child wiggles around, but in all I think it serves its purpose and would recommend. The seat is also a good size, wasnt too small or too big. My child is pretty small in the bum bum area.

> 24 hourthis portable potty is the absolute best, I let everyone know how amazing and easy to use it is. Only two legs vs 4 that other potty’s have with only one button on each side. You can use it to sit toddler on it or use it over the toilet. The bags are also amazing, they have a napkin lining that absorbs the urine and the bag is thick too, compared to the other bags other potty’s come with.

> 24 hourLove this thing for around town! My daughter SUCKS at going potty before we head out, and finding a clean bathroom isn’t always easy. This thing is amazing. We just got it but already we’ve used it multiple times! We used it at grandma and grandpa’s (they’re vaccinated! Yay!!) house on the toilet and in the parking lot of our favorite local park so we didn’t have to use the not so clean public one. My kid is already potty trained, so I didn’t use it for that purpose, though I’m sure it’s great. Clean up is easy, just a quick wipe does the job. I am actually thinking of getting another one to keep in my husband’s car. I carry it around in the baby bag, but I don’t always need a baby bag for quick trips around town. Keeping one in each car might just be easier.

> 24 hourThis is the perfect compact size for travel and quick potty breaks… especially when you have more than one child. No need to unload everyone to go into a public bathroom. It comes with a couple of bags but you can also use grocery bags and napkins to absorb anything. Very happy with this purchase and I definitely recommend!

> 24 hourNever before children did I think I’d have a potty in my car, alas, here I am, and I’m reviewing it. This is the travel potty you never knew you needed, until you are potty training and are afraid to let your child ride in the car without a pull-up on. Alas, you have arrive at this product and possibly this review. You don’t think you need this until you are leaving your daycare facility, and get on the highway (which is about a 35 minute ride from home, and the next potty stop is a good 25 mins away) and you ensured your very adorable tiny tot has relieved themselves before hitting road, to only just pass through the toll booth and hear “I NEED TO GO POTTY!!!” To which you reply: “you just went at daycare can you hold it?” And tiny tot says: “NO ITS ALMOST COMING OUT!!” If this sounds like you, than this little port-a-pot for tots is just up your alley. It’s a stand alone little pot, so if you’re outside somewhere discrete you can let them pee on the ground, OR if you can’t do that, then they have amazing little absorbent bags that attach to this little pot to catch it all and tie it up (please take it home and discard of it properly, we’re all humans here, or so I hope). But wait!!!! there’s more!!! It’s convent to use in the trunk, or on the back seat for added privacy for your tiny tot, and even folds out to be a tot spot on a regular big pot. If you’ve gotten this far, for real it has been a life saver for my 3 year old in the long car rides to and from daycare daily, and when visiting friends. Happy Potty training families!

> 24 hourHonestly we love this but my son doesn’t sit on it because it hurts, the plastic is pretty hard. We ended up buying a padded seat that goes over a normal toilet and it works perfectly. The seat is absolutely wonderful it just hurts him a little when he sits on it. But the idea of this is awesome!
