Greater than one weekI got this for my 2 year old daughter, who is potty trained, but still little for public bathrooms. This purchase has been a time and life saver! No more having to take one leg fully out of clothing so she can fit on regular toilet seat. I set this up and it’s a much cleaner and faster option. Cannot recommend this enough for toddler girl parents!

> 3 dayGreat for both uses! We mainly use it when we’re out of the house but we’ve used it as both a standalone potty (on a trail at a park where we weren’t close to a bathroom) as well as in public bathrooms. If I have time in a public bathroom, I try to put down a toilet seat barrier (also purchased on Amazon) just to try to keep the bottom of the seat clean but I think this seat is way to wipe down and clean. I keep disinfecting wipes on hand when I’m out so I can wipe it down quickly before putting it away. Love that it comes with a carry bag…it’s a must for something like this but not all seats come with one. The only thing that I don’t love is that I find it a little difficult pushing the button while pulling out the legs all the way to the side (for use on a toilet) so it takes longer to do that when seconds count with little kids. I wished that I could just click the button twice and they would pop out to the right position (i.e. one click for stand-alone and two clicks for toilet). I still recommend this though because it’s sturdy, won’t pinch, fairly quick and mostly easy to set up, easy to clean and comes with a carry bag. If anyone from OXO is reading this, please consider the improvement I mentioned since second count when heading to the potty with a little one.

> 3 dayWe are following the Oh Crap method potty training, which basically means our son is commando until this potty training thing sinks in. Having this in the back of my car has opened up a new world to us! Its small which is convenient for carting it all over, I leave it set up with the liners for emergencies. Havent had to try it on a regular sized toilet yet, but Im sure its good in a pinch. Its not small enough to fit in a purse - but a decent sized diaper bag or tote is sufficient. My one complaint is the size - my son is a LARGE 2.5, but I cant imagine an average sized kid fitting well on it. We have struggled with finding seats that he fits on in general, but when he sits on this his legs are in his armpits. I get that its compact as its purpose is for travel so I dont knock it too much. If you have a boy, just be prepared to have a towel or mat to catch the pee that misses the pot.

22-11-2024This has been one of the best purchases we have made recently. Our daughter is 3 and is fully potty trained, but a bit fearful of public toilets because they are loud and smelly. Forget the latrines or port a potties at state and local parks that are full of flies. On top of that, with the COVID lockdown a lot of bathrooms were closed for a long time. After about the third time having to hold her up over the grass so she could poop outside in an emergency while away from home (we took a lot of walks in nature preserves while on lock down for our sanity) we looked for an emergency potty option for the car and found this. Such a game changer!!!! She has used it several times and it is wonderful. We use the bags it comes with so the pad inside can absorb any urine. She likes to use it and I don’t have to battle with her over smelly loud public toilets or stinky latrines when out on adventures. It will work well for taking her camping, too. We just keep it in the car and pull it out if needed. I love this product.

> 3 dayThis is a great on-the-go potty for outdoors, park visits, camping, and more with a toddler. Fold the handles down and it’s a potty. Fold them out and it’s a toddler seat for public restrooms. I keep one in every car. When toddler says she has to go, we pull the car over and I get this out! Never had an accident in the car or at the park thanks to this.

Greater than one weekAmazing product! I bring it everywhere on the go with my preschooler who is not ready to use the big potty seat. When my son was using the little potty seat at home, we used the oxo with the bags while on the go. Now that he uses the big potty with a seat adapter at home, we are now using the flat mode on top of a big seat while on the go. I keep it in my bagpack with still some bags just in case. It has made me so much confident to go out while potty training. One tip for big trips that involve hotel stays: if you dont want to bring a full little potty seat and dont want to use up a lot of bags, there is a silicon insert (that folds too) you can buy on Amazon that fits this potty seat perfectly!

Greater than one weekThis has definitely save us a million times. We have had a wayyyy easier time potty training with this set up in our minivan. We just have it ready to go and she tries before and after going into a store. I am convinced it has saved us from a million accidents, because it has allowed her to try while we are out and about, as often as she would try at home. Its been great on our road trips too!
