I bought this for miniatures. As such I have many small brushes which i like to keep clean. This was cheap and works very well. The notches on the bottom of the well work great and cleaning brushes using just water.

This brush basin is a good idea, but it misses the mark. Yes, you can rinse your brushes very well. But the whole idea is to preserve your brushes. Once you put them in the drying position. The water will start dripping to the metal part and where the glue is. It would have been better if you could put in the downnward position on the inside. The openings are different sizes. That means if you have a set like me that they all have the same size handle, some will stay and others will fall thru. Unfortunately this was not a good fit for me, hopefully it works for you.

I really like the brush basin, it is just what we were looking for. It did come with a crack on the rim of the basin. But, it was needed for a gift to give & didnt have time to order another one. So, now will order another one to replace the cracked one. The plastic does seem quite strong, dont know what happened in shipping.

This product has a nifty design. It certainly is an improvement over what I used before-old jars filled with water! This is clever. I like that it is stable, holds more water than any jar I ever used before, has brackets to hold brushes I am going to need, and has a side to help you wring out excess water. The lid is a nice feature too. I would love to see it in a bright yellow. Otherwise I think it is awesome! I may get another one. The price is very good too!!

This is a hard plastic box with 2 compartments for cleaning brushes with watercolor… It’s like having 2 containers in 1. Each part has different designs at the bottom for rubbing and holding the brushes. A few holes on the top to place the brushes. Exactly what we need for watercolor brushes !!!
