Greater than one weekOnce you figure out how to play, Pandemic is a super fun game. Its very challenging and requires a lot of teamwork. The more players, the more fun the game is. The rules are extensive and a bit confusing, but once you get the hang of it, the game is very entertaining. Unfortunately, our box was missing the Scientist role card. Weve had to play without it.

> 3 dayOne of our favorite games. Learning the rules can take a little bit of time and requires a decent amount of attention to detail, but once you get the rules down the game is easily adjustable for increased (or decreased) difficulty. My biggest dislike is that it maxes out at four players - which seems small for a good game nowadays. Relatedly, I find the game is fun with two players, but so much better with three and even moreso with four.

> 3 dayPandemic is a great co-op board game with a variable degree of difficulty and relatively straight forward mechanics. It’s a great introductory co-op game and I’ve taught my elementary-school-aged kids to play with us. We have a ton of fun working together to save humanity.

> 3 dayMy adult children have had this game for years. I just had to buy one for ourselves during an ACTUAL pandemic. Yes, I have a sick sense of humor. It is a great game that players work together instead of competing against each other. Its not hard to learn. (I did and Im not good with all those complicated strategic games that the rest of my family love. On those, my goal is to die quickly and get out of the game! Oh, darn the luck!! haha) This is not a lengthy game but I havent timed it. Maybe takes an hour plus or minus 30 min? Fun game even given the subject. Ive bought 3 of them. You must work together and stop the pandemic from spreading across the world by containing the virus growth in each city so it doesnt spread. So weird that this game came out YEARS ago before Covid version 19 came to visit!

> 3 dayIm always a bit worried about how a board game will turn out f I havent played it before. Review sites and videos only show you so much. Pandemic did not disappoint. Thematically it is one of the best games I have played. The sense of urgency and creeping doom is palpable as you race against the clock to stop the spread of disease. I found that the agitation it created came across in our interactions with each other, even for the more easy going players. Tense debates on what the next move should be were commonplace. Win or lose, the game is a thrilling, fun ride and is very re-playable. For gamers, it is a no brainer, and for non-gamers it is a good first choice to let them experience the world of boardgaming.

> 3 dayI bought Pandemic specifically to play with my boyfriend, hoping it would be something fun we could do together rather than sitting on the couch watching reruns of The Office. Success! We both loved it. We played 3 rounds the first night - stayed up until 3am playing, we liked it so much. And, we plan on playing all day tomorrow! First 2 rounds, for us, were learning rounds. Id say by the 3rd game we really got the hang of it, and we won. I wont give away the strategy here, but we assume what we did (specifically)during the 3rd game will be the key to winning each time. Only time will tell. An overall great game for a couple who want to do something fun & challenging without leaving the house. **I will update this review when we get around to playing with other couples.

> 3 dayI got this for my brother for Christmas. He was so excited about it. It’s a little difficult to learn, and we did watch some YouTube videos to figure a few things out, but overall we enjoyed it.

> 3 dayGreat educational tool for developing teamwork. Relatively easy to learn, and there are online resources which can help you master the game faster. Takes about an hour to play. Great fun.

> 3 dayGreat game, bought myself my own copy after trying it with a friend. Only downside to this, I’m missing a disease token so that sucks :( otherwise it’s perfect

> 3 dayThis is one of my favorite games right now, in fact Im planning on getting most of the expansion packs and the one-off games. The idea of the game is that there are four diseases that have gotten out and the player must work together to stop them. Ive play with game with 2 people and with 4, its equally fun no matter the number of people. I like that is a cooperative game, its different from most of the other games we play. Game time isnt terribly long. The first few games take a bit longer as everyone is learning how to play and what their roles can and cannot do. I recommend reading all the instructions, at the end there a section of commonly misunderstood rules that really helps with the game play. If youre looking for a new game to add to game night this is a good one!
